Telling you to write an essay about your internship is telling you to replay all your experiences since Day 1 to Day 68. You have to remember the first day when you think you feel all the emotions in the world messed up with you excitement, tension, curiosity, happiness, and the like. You have to recall the times that you spent 200 hours each department executive lounge, finance, and housekeeping respectively. You have to remember that you got lost once because you’re not yet familiar to the intricate maze of the hotel. You have to remember that you need to pass your timesheet for updating. You have to remember the meeting you have attended every 1:30 pm every Wednesday. You have to remember the hotel and its facilities, the experiences, the knowledge you got, your cheery and thoughtful co trainees, and the absolute and definitely solid family of HISM. One of the highlighted part as a graduating college student was conducting an internship. My first day as an intern is not that easy, mixed with excitement and unexplainable feat, it is my first time to enter the reality of my chosen field. But as days gone by I get the chance to know them more and build a friendship with them. My internship was an experience of a life time it provided opportunity for growth, understanding, strength renewal, patience, commitment, dedication, obedience, spirituality, compassion, and great work ethic.
Although it is a bit challenging at times facing sort of difficulties engaging with it provides me the opportunity to gain real world experience which will be an edge and a plus point the sooner we landed a job. My internship experience helps ease the culture shock while dealing with different people of their expertise. I have also learned to adjust cope up and mingle to diverse attitude s of different individual. Furthermore my internship was more rewarding and phenomenal than challenging for myself. That opportunity at hand provided me the necessities needed to

Elizabeth Bishop’s “The Hanging of the Mouse”, places animals in the roles of humans in reference to an execution. The writer uses animals to replace humans to possibly convey a message or point of view towards the death penalty. In the story, the mouse is being executed for what we believe is some sort of crime. It isn’t clear whether or not the mouse actually committed a crime, but we are led to believe that an act occurred in which caused the mouse to be executed on this particular day.…

This internship is to conclude my Master Business Mathemetics and Informatics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Seven months I have spent at Toyota Motor Europe in Brussels to try to understand the business processes within Information Systems and to contribute in improving them. My internship has given fortunately enough foundation of trust for Toyota to ask me to stay at Information Systems division after the conclusion of it. But to come this far, it took also the support and patience of a lot of other people. First I had the goal to search for an internship abroad. Secondly, it was absolutely not easy when it came to making the final decision. My parents, partner and friends helped me to make this decision and kept supporting me during the entire period as an intern far away in Brussels. As of the first Monday I came in as an intern at IS Business Planning, my team didn’t hesitate in giving me my first assignment with a deadline set on that Friday already. With the right support from Ricardo (and on the background Frank as manager and Tim as General Manager) I was able to meet that deadline. That culture of no fooling…

My "About Me" speech that I just gave in my public speaking class last Tuesday was decent, however I kind of rushed it due to the nervousness I had. I opened up my speech by saying how I didn't have anything nearly as interesting to say about myself compared to the girl that had gone before me; I guess that was a nervous mechanism, since I already started doubting myself from the beginng. I spoke about my family first, because that's the most important thing in my life. I explained how I am the youngest of four kids .. Gave all of their Names (Lance, Clemjie, and Jane) and told where they went to college what that they majored in; as well as what they do now for a living. After that, I gave a brief background as to where I grew up and where I currently work. I also explained why and how I ended up going to Middlesex Community College; how I messed up on my loans for Coastal Carolina and etc. I told the class what my hobbies where (what kind of sports I played throughout highschool and throughout my life; cheerleading, field hockey, pole-vaulting, track, softball, etc. The main purpose of my speech was to inform my peers and my proffessor of my background as well as my hobbies and dislikes; such as my pure hate for my major- Accounting, and how I extremely dislike it. I started to get nervous and forget the order of how my speech was suppose to follow, and abruplty ended it with, "Sooo, that's about it."…

According to the film, it seems that the U.S influence in a lot of different ways. They influence us in terms of speech, sense of style and clothing, food we eat, the movies we watch and even how we think and decide. Our government does not give attention in our education, from colonial education to neo education means to maintain the control of U.S in our education. They want us learn based only on their books, they are making the young ones like robotic children “don’t ask just learn”. Children cannot think, decide or express their feelings.…

I usually try Yoga stretching before I go to sleep. I do it at home, once or twice a week depending on the mood I carry. I mostly do it when I had a tiring day or a lot of stuff going on. I sit down on a mat, close my eyes and begin the relaxation procedure. I try to stretch my whole body, starting from my legs and I work my way up. Most of the time I’m there for about 10 to 15 minutes. I tend to do it right after my shower because the shower itself is what starts relaxing my body. After my shower, I feel fresh and full of energy again. In my personal opinion doing Yoga stretching after a shower has led me to maximum results out of it. I tend to sleep better and wake up feeling even better. It’s just as if my whole body comes back to life and I just forget about what a bad day I had and start thinking that tomorrow will be a better day. I love how this technique makes you feel in a state of peace and relaxation. When they first told me about it I never believed it actually worked until I started trying it. It’s actually a stress reliever that doesn’t involve actual action like sports or the gym. For me playing soccer, running, and going to the gym is another way of forgetting about everything and getting relived but it involves me sweating and actually putting effort on it. I then tried Yoga stretching and I get similar results in reducing my stress. I will certainly keep doing it over and over again because I can do it at any convenient time, it relaxes me, and it doesn’t involve me doing much hard work. Most important why I will keep doing it, because it’s like a sleep aid for me. It helps me get better sleep and better rest. For me not getting sleep is a bad thing, I’m just one of those persons who needs their sleep. The only thing I would change about this it would be to start doing it more often to the point where I do it every day so I can start seeing even better results. I want to one day get better at doing the exercises that help me focus more deeply…

Ferdinand Emmanuel Edralin Marcos (September 11, 1917 – September 28, 1989) was President of the Philippines from 1965 to 1986. He was a lawyer, member of the Philippine House of Representatives (1949–1959) and a member of the Philippine Senate (1959–1965). He was Senate President in 1963. He had been the leader of Ang Maharlika, a guerilla force in northern Luzon.[1] As Philippine president and strongman, his greatest achievement was in the fields of infrastructure development and international diplomacy. However, his administration was marred by massive authoritarian corruption, despotism, nepotism, political repression, and human rights violations. He benefited from a large personality cult in the Philippines during his regime.[2] In 1983, his government was implicated in the assassination of his primary political opponent, Benigno Aquino, Jr.. The implication caused a chain of events, including a tainted presidential election that served as the catalyst for the People Power Revolution in February 1986 that led to his removal from power and eventual exile in Hawaii. It was later alleged that he and his wife Imelda Marcos had moved billions of dollars of embezzled public funds to the United States, Switzerland, and other countries, as well as into alleged corporations during his 20 years in power.…

The best way to prevent lung cancer is to avoid smoking. If you currently smoke, ask your health care provider to assist you in finding resources to help you quit smoking. It is also important to try to avoid second-hand tobacco smoke, radon, asbestos and pollution, which can increase a person's risk of developing lung cancer. Controlling other lung diseases, such as tuberculosis can help prevent lung cancer, since there is evidence that lung cancer tends to develop in scarred areas of the lung. Finally, eating a good diet with lots of fruits and vegetables also may help prevent lung cancer.…
