Psalms 91 Essay
In Psalms 91 God promises protection and security who take shelter in him. “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalms 91:1 NIV) God will protect him and all he endures in his life, even the difficulties will be turned into his own good the way his life was designed. Though sometimes people cannot see or understands God’s will and work, through the struggles man faces. “We greet him here with unashamed enthusiasm as our refuge and rescuer.” (Kinder 2010, pg 376) Every Christ believer should take a stand on this verse and look to God to do major work in their life, protecting them while here on earth, and when time ends here, trusting the Lord to take them home to beauty when life's journey ends.

As we see it, we can imagine the congregation with the soloist front and center in the Temple singing songs of hymnals in our imaginations. As the soloists sings tunes from the heart he turns and addresses King Messiah and speaks “If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you.”(Psalm 9-10) The soloist then turns from the audience and addresses God who he sees through his visions. His first statements he expresses his refuge in God. The psalmist is a Trinitarian and is taking refuge in both God the father, and God the Son. If a person does not understand the doctrine of trinity, they may not understand certain vital passages found in some scriptures. Having addressed King Messiah, the psalmist stated God would take care of him through his pilgrimage. When God is here on earth, he is God the son, he was conceived through a virgin birth. God is a perfect man, as well as a perfect God. God had promised to take care of King Messiah in all
