Have you ever won a trophy and you were so happy? Holding that trophy in your hand how did that make you feel, were you proud of yourself, were you happy to be appreciated for your hard work. Nowadays, trophies mean a lot to little kids, and those little participation trophies, certificates or metals mean something special to every child that receives one. Participation trophies give kids the opportunity to be acknowledged for their teamwork, sportsmanship, and effort. Many kids today don’t have a clue that teamwork is the way to go in life. You can’t just get by in life without having your right hand, because most people are right handed and you need your hands. It does not matter what kind of sport it is. The effort of these young kids are incredible and they should receive an award for striving to do their best. Any child that is doing good and is working hard to do good and puts in the energy that they know is need to go so good deserves a participation trophy. It takes a lot to be dedicated to something and give your all to it, not too many kids will do that. But if a young kid is loving what he or she is doing and works hard to be the best at what they are doing needs to be acknowledged for their incredible effort of doing so.
