Pros And Cons Of Getting A Driver's License
In California and in almost every other state teens are eager to start driving and are excited to get their driver's license whether it’s to drive to the theaters or go to the store to buy some things, teens want the privilege to drive themselves anywhere at anytime they want, but with the freedom comes responsibility too. Each year they are hundreds of car related accidents which can result in death or serious injuries. Out of those hundreds of accidents most involve young drivers around the ages of 15 and 19, because of most accidents are caused or involve a teen or young driver many people believe and would strongly argue that the driving age should be raised but I would strongly argue back that it shouldn’t, it should be kept the way it is but with a little change in

Although some start the process at 15 others wait until they are 18 years of age to skip that long process and go straight to receiving their driver’s license without having to take behind the wheel training. Research has shown that the number of fatal crashes of those between 15 and 17 has fallen, the number has risen in 18 and 19 year old drivers. I believe that the reason that 18 and 19 year olds are involved in more fatal crashes is because they skip the long process teens have to go through to get their license and don’t get the training and skills teen drivers do. Although most skip the process it doesn’t mean all of them aren’t as skilled or don’t know as much as a teen driver. I personally have a lot of friends that are going to wait until they are 18 until they go and get their license but for myself I have already started the process by taking a driver’s ed course which has filled me with a lot of knowledge and skills I will need that will keep my more safe and alert
