Teacher is a noblest profession. They said that without a teacher there will be no professionals. Moreover, teachers are role model in all aspect in life but before you’ll be an effective teacher, you should be guided by philosophies in teaching.
As a future educator, I have my own philosophy in teaching. First, I should know my students and consider their individual differences. I should know their talents and potentials and I will try to understand their good and bad behavior. After knowing my learners, I can set my goals for them that is to improve their potentials and enhance them as better students and that will only be possible through using techniques and strategies in teaching. I will think for better and current activities that will touch the domains of the learners. In addition, I will focus in hands on activities because I know that it will be more effective that other activities that are over used.
Last, I will be a teacher that opens for changes because sometimes I need to change because sometimes I need to change my techniques and even my beliefs because of our environment. The environment changes the learners and it is difficult to change that fact. The only thing I can do is to change and go with the flow to have a continuous cycle of teaching. On the other hand, to be a good teacher, it doesn’t matter how good you are in using the chalk and the board but how you are going to touch the heart of the students in their weakest time.
