Persuasive Essay On Gun Control In Schools
This just goes to show you that school shootings can happen anywhere at anytime. How are we going to make schools safer for students? Gun control? Better security? Whatever we decide to do needs to happen immediately for the safety of the students. I think that we need better security at schools where it's harder for strangers to get it or making sure that students do not bring guns or other weapons to school. There also needs to be more gun control on who can get a gun or that parents need to have gun safes so that their children cannot get to them.

Young children should not be taught how to handle guns because they don’t have the understanding that a gun can potentially kill or seriously injure someone, they’re constantly being exposed to violent movies/videogames, and most kids do not know the difference between real and fake guns.…

The intruder eventually made his way up to the attic and broke into the room, where only the mother’s 6 or 7 gunshots stopped him in his tracks . Having a semi-automatic weapon with a reasonable high magazine capacity saved that woman’s life. The high capacity of an AR, along with it’s light weight, accuracy and accessories make this an awful nice weapon to have in the case of an emergency. Banning assault weapons isn’t going to save lives, it will only disarm or disadvantage the law obeying citizens and help the criminals who will have weapons no matter what.
