Personal Narrative: Receiving The Cardinal Journey
College can be a challenge to many of us and perhaps one might feel unprepared to take this step in life, but in order to become successful one must overcome this fear of independence and begin the road to success. Considering I decided to graduate High school early I can assert that I am motivated and excited to begin this new journey. Receiving the Cardinal Covenant will impact my ability to go to college to a great extent, considering my financial status hinders my ability to attend, earning a college degree will impact my future in many ways, one being that it allows me to become fully independent and knowledgeable to a greater extent, lastly I opine that the way in which I will contribute to the University of Louisville is by upping the diversity-factor and enhancing the college experience of others through my role of leadership. Most colleges and universities strive to have diversity not only ethnic wise but also idea wise. I can contribute with both, being that I am Mexican and have ideas in commencing a cultural diverse club. Since in High School I was in highly selected leadership programs I could enhance the college experience of others by demonstrating leadership and making them feel as if they aren't alone and seek help if they need it academically, emotionally, or even physically to improve the student body at the University of Louisville. Currently being part of the principals forum at my High School and learning how to facilitate and better an educational facility I think I could contribute to a large extent at the University of Louisville in contributing my ideas and much
