Personal Narrative: My First Soccer Player
It was a warm sunny day and I was sitting down watching soccer videos my mom got a phone call it was my coach he wanted to invite me to play on his team named Cruz fc. It was three days later I was getting ready for my first practice we went to the stores and bought cleats, shin guards, and soccer socks. When I got to the practice I introduced myself to the team and told him what position I played I told him forward. When we started playing they passed me the ball and I lost and then I thought to myself I need to get better because my teammates are faster, and have more skills, and stronger than me. When I was at my second practice coach Austin told us that we were going to be practicing our shooting and our dribbling. The first thing we did was shooting so how we did it was I passed it to a player they set it up for …show more content…
So when the game started I was sitting out with some over the other subs. When I got subbed in I was playing center forward. When my teammate passed me the ball I took it up a little and then passed it my teammate named Adrian dribbled the ball down the line and crossed it I jumped up as high as I can I hit the ball with my head and it went straight at the top corner I was so happy I started celebrating. After that I went to play CAM so when the other team had the ball it was my job to take the ball from the and win all the headers in the middle. And then the game was over we had won the score was 2-1 the last goal that I scored was the winning goal it felt amazing to score a goal and to win then I started to think about my other soccer team that I was on befor this club team good times.
When the game was over I went to practice and we worked on passing and I learned how to pass the ball shoot the ball and even dribble the ball. And I thank my coach Austin for teaching me how to play and that soccer is a sport I love. I was exited as a bear with

And to finish up that inning we just got a couple ground balls and we turned a double play. And for the next few innings nothing really happened both teams were struggling to hit. Now it's like the 5th inning and we have the top of our hitting order up so we had:Liam,Luke,Ryan,Alex as our 1,2,3,4 hitters. And we got a rally going and we scored a couple runs so at this point the score is 5-1 and we have the lead so then I go into the 6th inning to pitch and I can only do ⅔ of the inning so than Ryan comes in and pitches and to finish out the 7th Alex pitches a 3 strikeout inning. So the game was over and the presedent of the league gave me the game ball to keep and bring home and everyone on our team got a trophy to take home after we won we were all so happy that we won the championship because it was or a lot of people the first time they won something. The…

It was a frigid, windy, Friday night in October. The only light was the bright and beaming illumination of the stadium lights projecting over the soccer field. The bleachers were full, it seemed as if the whole school was there, and as a freshman with anxiety, it made it hard to cope with the fact, that I was going to be a starter for the varsity soccer team.…

My club soccer team sat in the same Taco Mac to watch every game the national team played in that 2011 World Cup. As most of us were just starting high school that summer, we could relate to Morgan. I was a rising freshmen and being the youngest in the school trying out for a varsity sport is always hard. Once I received news I was on the Varsity soccer team I was excited but I knew that was only the beginning. I would be starting center mid with two other seniors who had experience and been on the team for three years. The season was tough after losing in the first round of the state playoffs but in the end I scored 13 goals for the team my freshmen year. Alex Morgan’s effort really pushed me that season. I kept reminding myself of her accomplishments and how I could easily reach some of my own.…

My life has revolved around soccer since I was four years old. My whole family was born into the sport and I’m so thankful that I have the support from my family and friends to continue to follow my dream in playing college soccer. I believe my life would not be the same without participating in the sport I love and playing with the people I grew up with. I wouldn’t have met half the people I know now. All my teammate’s families that treat me like their family would have been just imaginary. I wouldn’t have a second family to fall back on when I need. Soccer had made me for who I am. The reason I’m so competed and driven is because of the game. Soccer has helped me become a responsible hardworking young adult that doesn’t like to fail. My never-quit…

The whole team was mad but there was no one to be at but ourselves. We stop playing our ball and it cause us to lose the game. That day was an eye opener for me. I learn that day to never get rap up in the glory because anything can taking away in seconds. I learn to always work hard at something you want. If you want something you must go out and handle your business. Once you get to top never stop working keep working and striving to be better. Even if you're the best still push and…

It’s game day, and the first time in twenty-three years that we might be able to defeat out school rivals, Turpin. But something didn’t feel like it should, after all it was the biggest day our team’s season. We had immense confidence in ourselves, being the higher raked state team, we expected to win this game then make a large tournament run. Little did we know that the rest of our season relied heavily on this game. Winning or losing this game would not end our season physically, but would emotionally ruin us, ultimately ending our season. The game began with a pleasant, almost soothing blow of the whistle and ended with the blood-curtailing screech of the referee’s dagger, sending shivers down my spin. The roar of our crowd stopped and…

Everyone on my team, including me, were 120% focused during our warm-up because we were versing a good Illinois team and their team’s name was Euro SC Select. This team had a lot of skilled and fast players that were definitely bigger than us. Most of the players on this team were very aggressive and physical too, so my team had to be very strong. There weren’t many times when my soccer games were really intense, but this game was very intense to watch and the parents were getting so nervous and anxious. It was a really close game and we ended up tying the game 0-0. Because of the tie in the championship game, we had to go into penalty kicks. My coach got to choose 5 people to kick from the penalty box and they have to try to make it in. My team was so scared to the point where we all held hands and we stayed very close to each other. In the end we were happy because we had made 3 out of 5 goals in and the other team only made 1 goal out of 5 shots! To phrase it better, my team won the tournament and we all lived happily ever…
