Anytime I see these special offers at the grocery or clothing stores, I get excited to purchase more than I anticipate. For instance, Kohl's normally send me incentive percentage coupons sometimes 25% or coupons with dollar values, anytime I see these coupons, I am tempted to use it even though I don't need these items. As a marketer for one of these companies distributing these savings, I would embrace the shopper who takes the time to search for deals by offering more savings for continued purchases or even higher quantity orders. Even with a reduced profit margin, the company will see increased revenues through number of units sold. Managers may actively or even passively avoid some of these extreme consumers because they are intimidated by their product knowledge or they just don’t want to dedicate a larger portion of time to someone who has an obvious infatuation. They may dismiss these people as crazy or neurotic and simply not devote any part of their day to minding them. It would be better to encourage them and consequently heightening the consumer’s already loyal…

How many of us living in the United States manage to find ourselves at the latest holiday sales in order to get those “must-have” deals of the century? About one month after that day, Christmas and New Year’s Day come. People would, then again, go to departments stores and line up to purchase heavily discounted Christmas sales.…

What a crazy busy week! I still can’t believe the opportunity that I was afforded this week. Sometimes things happen sooner than I expect them to which can catch me off guard. Because of how well I am doing at work I was asked to interview for a higher position within the company. Without much time to prepare I still made sure that I took at least an hour to stop and think about how this promotion could affect my life in many ways. I made a list of pros and cons of promoting and transferring stores at this time and what would be expected of me in the new position along with how many additional hours would be required of me if I were to promote as I already work 40 hours per week. Also, I had to think about what is…

For the past 5 years, I’ve been inexplicably physically fatigued, which has had exorbitant consequences in every facet of my life, most prominently, in academics. In high school, I was always one more overslept class away from being kicked out, and at the beginning of every term, I was placed on disciplinary restriction for weeks on end. I’ve seen an endless parade of doctors, mental health professionals, been misdiagnosed and put on various medications that impeded my health even further. Some days I slept 15, 18, even 20 hours consecutively. I struggled to stay awake in between the classes I managed to attend, extracurricular activities, and homework.…

No matter what, you will always find the bargain shopper hunting for a discount. These types of shoppers enjoy the thrill of receiving a discount or finding items on sale in the store. They usually prepare for hours before actually going to the store by cutting coupons out of magazines and searching for discount codes online to save as much as they can. You will never find this type of shopper paying full price for anything. This shopper comes into the store with a bag full of coupons and keeps a calculator handy at all times. Throughout the shoppers time in the store, they are constantly going up and down the isles in an orderly manner knowing exactly where everything is and how much everything costs.
