To take part through my inferno, these are truly sins and punishments committed by travel virgins. Through the journey of my personal traveling inferno I in downed on how to be a better traveler.
Wandering down the first gate with bags in hand, I inquire a strange figure standing in front of me. In front of me was a figure of a woman who was a few inches taller, blonde hair and a what I could see, a soft outline of a helmet on her head with goggles on her head. She walked towards me and it slowly came to me who she was, Amelia Earhart.
“ Where are you heading today?” she

The plane was packed with people on each side of us. We got settled in for take off and within 10 minutes we were in the air riding steady. Sitting behind us was four college students going to Cancun for spring break, and I could already tell there was something about them that was going to be a problem when they ask the flight attendant for some drinks. I could understand their excitement, but throwing things around and being obnoxiously loud. Then Amelia paused the scene like we were in a movie and she took me to the same plane and the same people but it seemed a little different. I saw the college students that were sitting behind us earlier. They had their mouth sewn together with thick cotton thread and a luggage tag neatly tied at the end there mouths. I quickly learned that it was not a game to be up here and that there is a price to pay no matter the action. There shortly after we landed. We were delayed for over an hour in this muggy airport that laked of coffee and was a little drogy. Everyone that was sitting around us was on there phones and laptops. Glued to there screens I study each of them to try to get a better picture. “They are so focused on what is going on in a digital world that there going to miss there flight!” I …show more content…
When we got there there was a line of people at the customer service desk for our airline. When the luggage started to come out of the carrier only a few bag came out. I was starting to get concerned about where our bag are and what I could do to get them back. I walk over to the line that look like it went on forever to see if I could get any where.
“Have you got any farther than this?” I ask the man in front of me.
“I have been standing in this line for over five day!” the sinner exclaimed.
I was overwhelmed by his response and got out of line to watch and observe the line. It seemed that every time they would get through one customer they would always get two added to the line. I decided that I did not need my luggage and that it was time for me to go home, Amelia stayed at the airport do to her five o'clock flight. When leaving the airport I grab a cab outside to get home. On my long car ride home I came to the realization of all the things I had learn in those short few hours. What others should take away from my experience is that it's hard to get where you want to go when you're always looking at your phone, it is hard for others to fly when there is loud passengers on board and never be loss passengers luggage or you will have a great deal of

My heart sank to my stomach, as I hated to fly on planes. I couldn’t even fathom the thought that I was stuck on this plane forever. I rubbed my hand along the smooth armrest and gripped the end as tightly as I could, hoping this was all a dream. Unfortunately, it was not.…

Because I was at the back, I couldn't tell what was going on in the first class section. Three people with red bandannas entered the cockpit. The had left one person outside of the cockpit who was holding something in his hand. After a minute or so, they came back out of the cockpit dragging two bodies behind them. They went back in the cockpit and within a minute we were told from the new pilot that they had a bomb on board. They allowed us to make phone calls. I was the first one to be able to make a call. My parents didn't pick up the phone, so I left a message telling them that my plane had been hijacked. After I left a message, I sat down in my seat and let others…

For most of the 100 or so sleepy-eyed people boarding the U.S. Airways shuttle to Boston from New York on a recent hazy Saturday morning, the 35-minute flight could not have been a bigger non-event. But that was not the case for about 20 passengers clustered nervously near the gate. Many clutched puzzle books and bags of sour candy as though they held talismans. Some made nervous jokes, others sobbed quietly. “I have pills with me just in case of an emergency,” said a teenage girl who planned to distract herself on the flight with celebrity magazines. Mariasol Flouty, a 44-year-old software developer from White Plains, held fast to her Sudoku book. “I had plane-crash nightmares,” she confessed. “I woke up very tense.” No one was more terrified than Beth Brenner, a 45-year-old mother of two teenagers from Somers, N.Y. “I was hysterical last night,” she said, “but my son said, ‘You’re going to be O.K.’ ” Ms. Brenner was crying quietly on the…

At this time one of the stewardesses came to me and gave me special form for US arrival security. I have a thing about filling out the forms and I felt happy. But after a while, I felt annoyed because of the many forms that I received. At last the airplane came to a bumpy landing. The airplane went over a long way and at the end parked near one of the floating aisles. German passengers talked with sleepy and deadpan faces which made me feel tired, unwilling to get up from my seat. The cabin's cold and timeworn air disturbed me during the nine hours flight. I thought that at least I could smell freedom after that, but still I could not smell anything in the air. Leaving the plane, I wobbled and I felt cramped.…

“Alright but I think I can try to figure it out” I replied. The rest of the flight was long and monotonous, and I could not fall asleep because I was too excited. We arrived in Milan after a six hour flight and right from that flight we had to board another smaller plane to go to the airport near my Grandparents home town. This flight only took two hours but it was still terrible. We arrived at the second airport and we had my uncle waiting for us with his tiny car. We stuffed all of our luggage into the car and we made our way to Acri. While we were in the car he was speaking to my mom and grandparents and I could not understand anything he said, it was like trying to put a puzzle together without any of the pieces. We had made it, I was ready to start my vacation but I was hungry and jet lagged. So we went out for some pizza and gelato and we went back and…
