Holiday From Hell
Holiday from hell
To whom this may concern,
I am writing with regards of my holiday experience which I had purchased a relaxing get away to India; flight number A1103FA with my sister. The holiday was lovely but the poor services of the airport and the travel agency ruined my holiday.
Firstly, I was told my flight would be 2 hours delay in Bahrain but it turned out to be a 6 hours delay; the airport was dirty, messy and wet.
Secondly, when I boarded the plane for my flight the floors were wet where I nearly slipped over and hurt myself; I complained to a member of staff about the wet floor, she immediately put a wet floor sign there to block it off therefore nobody else would slip.
Thirdly, when I had arrived in India I had gone through passport control. I went to the luggage area to receive my suitcases but instead I found out that my luggage was missing. On top of that I had to wait another 4 hours to get my suitcases
On the other hand after waiting 4 hours I finally received my luggage and I went home rather than the hotel that was recommended because I knew that the travel agency would have messed the hotel reservations up as well.
On the way back I had an horrifying experience because when I had boarded my flight from New Delhi – actually when I was supposed to be boarding the flight, the plane was being cleaned therefore it had made me miss my flight by 5 minutes. When I had complained to a member of staff at the administration about the incident instead of helping me. They were rude and impolite. In exchange of the flight incident I was given a new ticket and a free booking in a hotel in Bahrain for 24 hours, with transport to take me to the hotel and back to the airport but the bad side of that was that I could only make one phone call to my parents to inform them we were safe.

“Passengers flying Flight QF563, your gate is now open for boarding”, I peacefully sipped what remained of my coffee and waited for Joshua to finish his bacon and egg roll. Shortly after, we began to make our way to our designated gate. The smell of low-priced takeout food filled the air and couldn’t help, but leave me feeling overly excited. My son and I navigated our way through the clustered crowds of other keen travellers, following the signs above our heads as well as the announcements that were played through the speakers at the airport.…

Our research involved the airport experiences on the ground to include, check-in, boarding, arrival, baggage and staff friendliness and efficiency. Our research was carried out at KCI using a team of mystery shoppers who posed as travelers. Our mystery shopper team needed to find out what problems customers have with the airlines, how the problems are addressed and rate the general airline traveler experience at the airport. The results we found were mainly related to the sequence of events and we rated ending the customer-airline encounter on a positive noet with the highest mark. We recommend changes to the Southwest processes and different changes to the Delta processes to reduce the problems, which could have the result of…

One early dew-dropped March morning, I watched my parents watching me walk through airport security for the first time completely alone. It was odd not having parents to ask if I should take off my shoes or belt. Once I had gotten through airport security, I took my ticket and walked in silence to my gate, surrounded by fast food chains, news stores with blaring T.V.s talking about world and national news, bars, and bookstores. When I finally found my gate, I took a breath of relief, this was going to be my first time traveling without my family.…

I made my way through all the airport security procedures, and down to the terminal waiting area where my departure flight was scheduled. While awaiting the arrival of the plane I posed for a picture. Shortly after my picture, the plane arrived. I boarded the plane and made my way to my assigned seating area. I placed my bag in my assigned storage area above my seat. As I settled in my seat and buckled my seatbelt, my fear of heights dawned on me and my nervousness came…

I am inexplicably and uncontrollably weeping. When I finally got to my gate, I looked at the screen showing the waitlist and realized I couldn’t read the numbers. I noticed something was wrong with my head. My mom asked me why I didn't get myself checked out. I wasn’t feeling well, so I returned to my sister's apartment. I went back to the airport the next morning—or maybe the next?—and sat on the waitlist with hundreds of other people. I still remember when they announced they had scheduled a special plane that was normally used for transatlantic flights to take us all home to New York. I don't think I've ever been happier. Everyone on that plane was so full of joy—it was actually an incredibly fun ride. Anyway, I got home, after four days of…

The travel agency should guarantee a better service to their customer. They should guarantee the accuracy of the Information Technology or I.T. and as you can see, the one who answers the phone call seems he doesn’t know what he’s doing, he don’t even show the right way to Mr. Harrington. This is wrong due to that their job should be a customer friendly, and they are the one who will guide the customer not vice versa.…
