PepsiCo’s mission as stated on their website: “Our mission is to be the world’s premier consumer products company focused on convenient foods and beverages. We seek to produce financial rewards to investors as we provide opportunities for growth and enrichment to our employees, our business partners and the communities in which we operate. And in everything we do, we strive for honesty, fairness and integrity”.
PepsiCo’s vision: “PepsiCo’s responsibility is to continually improve all aspects of the world in which we operate – environment, social, economic – creating a better tomorrow than today.”

PepsiCo’s overall strategy is to ensure a successful future by investing in a healthier future for people and our planet. PepsiCo encourages people to live healthier by offering a variety of both enjoyable and wholesome foods and beverages.
PepsiCo’s strategy definitely supports their mission/vision. As stated in their vision statement it is their responsibility to improve all aspects of the world in which they operate. PepsiCo in an attempt to help people live healthier began offering food and beverage choices made with wholesome ingredients that will contribute to healthier eating and drinking. PepsiCo has increased the amount of whole grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds in their products. They have also reduced the amount of sodium per serving, amount of saturated fat per serving, and the amount of added sugar per serving in their food and beverage brands. In 2009 PepsiCo announced fifteen global goals and commitments in an effort to protect the Earth’s natural resources through more efficient use of land, energy, water, and packaging in their operations.
