An Incident that made you Believe in Fate
Honestly I have no idea where I might stand on this one, as I have had things happen, that needed to happen for many reasons, occur out of the blue and make enormous changes in my life. At the same time I am all for my own free will and making what I wish to happen a reality through hard work and smiles, but I can say that there is one incident that happened that made me realize that maybe our lives are pre destined .
April 21, 2009 was the day of my high school senior prom everything leading up to that day went so smoothly I couldn’t have expected anything bad happening to me or anyone else. As the day went on, getting ready for the big night everything still seemed pretty normal. My mother bought me a brand new Nissan Maxima; my grandmother put extra money in my pocket, everything was going so well. As the night went on; having fun and dancing with my friends it seemed like nothing could go wrong, I even won a Mac book from the contest drawings. My high school prom was nearly over it was 7am and I had to drive on the opposite side of town just to drop my date off, as I head back to my side of town on the interstate I start to feel a little drowsy, I try everything and anything in my power to stay awake whether it was rolling the window down or blasting my music or even talking to myself. All of that effort ended up with me falling asleep on the interstate going a hundred miles per hour into pickup truck. Once I collided with the truck I instantly woke up with the airbag in my face and smoke coming through the window with the hood bent back. As I pulled off the road I was placed in an ambulance while getting questioned by the police after that I was hauled off to the nearest emergency room where I walked out with only a bruised sternum; two chest contusions; and a bruised wrist, the doctor told me “that I was lucky to be alive and he must really have a plan for
