urthermore, the iambic pentameter in the poem reflects the sound of a heartbeat. At first it may been a bit mean that he's doing this (ha ha ha, mother! My heart is carrying on but yours isn't!), but when you look deeper, he owes his entire existence to his mother. Him being alive is her legacy, and this idea of genetics is enforced by the quote "my brother's voice that sounds like mine". Therefore, through his heartbeat and ongoing life, a part of his mother can survive.…

Usually in a book I can imagine the setting very well almost as if I am there, however I can only achieve this if the author has very good creative and descriptive writing. For example, in a book I recently read, the setting was a very rundown area in a council estate, obviously the book was about crime so this setting helped to aid the author because the meaning of the book by setting it in a typical criminal site.…

Boolean algebra finds its most practical use in the simplification of logic circuits. If we translate a logic circuit's function into symbolic (Boolean) form, and apply certain algebraic rules to the resulting equation to reduce the number of terms and/or arithmetic operations, the simplified equation may be translated back into circuit form for a logic circuit performing the same function with fewer components. If equivalent function may be achieved with fewer components, the result will be increased reliability and decreased cost of manufacture.…

    | A word processor is computer software used to compose, format, edit and print documents. Word processing is one of the earliest applications for office productivity and the personal computer. Although early word processors used tag-based markup for document formatting, most modern word processors take advantage of a graphical user interface to provide WYSIWYG editing, possibly as a front-end to a tag-based system. However for specialised text processing applications systems like TeX and derivatives are used. The 'word processing' typically refers to text manipulation functions such as automatic generation of * batch mailing using a form letter template and an address database (aka mail merging), * index of keywords and their page numbers, * table of contents with section titles and their page numbers, * table of figures with caption titles and their page numbers, * 'see also' cross referencing with page numbers. Processor allows you to Insert text: A text anywhere from a document.Delete text: Allows you to erase, words, lines, or pages.Cut and paste: Allows you to remove a section of text from one place in a document and insert it somewhere else.Copy: Allows you to duplicate a section of text.Page size and margins: Allows you to define various page sizes and margins, and the word processor will automatically readjust the text so that it fits.Search and replace: Allows you to direct the word processor to search for a particular word or phrase. Word wrap: The word processor automatically moves to the next line when you have filled one line with text, and it will readjust text if you change the margins.Print: Allows you to send a document to a printer to get hardcopy.File management: Many word processors contain file management capabilities that allow you to create, delete, move, and search for files.Font…

Geometry is typically the second math course taken by high school students. Major topics discussed include introductory logic; coordinate geometry; congruence, similarity and proof; right triangle trigonometry; transformations; locus; constructions; circles; and three-dimensional objects. Students will garner reasoning skills and learn how to form logical and coherent arguments. This course is aligned with the Common Core Learning Standards and integrates the eight Standards for Mathematical Practice throughout the curriculum. Common Core Learning Standards denoted by “★”indicate opportunities to emphasize the concepts of modeling with mathematics. In order to earn an Advanced Regents Diploma, students must pass the Integrated Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2/Trigonometry Regents Exams, among others, prior to graduation…
