One them would be no matter the how many obstacles an individual faces he or she can overcome them and achieve success. Muhammad Ali grew up during the time of segregation, and being a different skin color resulted with dealing with problems. For instance, growing up he was involved in many fights with other children. However, he still was able to go to the olympics and become a heavyweight champion. Another idea in the novel was that without fear, people can thrive. Ali was basically afraid of nothing growing up, and this helped him conquering opponents in his career as a professional boxer.
The book occurs in the past and there were many important events during this time period. I would recommend this book to people who are in high school, therefore he or she would already have background information and had learned parts about the history of the United States. Any kind of reader who is fascinated in sports, history, and an action genre would like this
