Hope Solo: Book Summary
Hope Solo My Story By Hope Solo, was written to entertain the reader. The main purpose of this book was to get Hope’s story out there so she sounds like a mean person with no feelings. Hope Said some things that were rude about one of her teammates because she wasn't started in an important game. Hope had a meltdown and he could be one of the reasons she wrote this book. Hope was upset and embarrassed the whole entire team. Her teammates hated her and the girl who she thought she was close to back stabbed her. Hope took a break and hoped things would get better. The latter did after the head coach was fired and replaced with Pia. Pia was an upbeat coach she sung to us during practice and was always happy.

Hope's father left her at

Hope started to disagree with her mom a lot and one day she packed her things and left. Hope when to her grandparent's house and stayed there for a while. Hope finally moved out and got a place of her own. This wasn't that surprising but it was predictable for her to disagree with authority.
E. Hope had a boyfriend who then became her really close friend. Adrian was hopes roommate for a while. Adrian was Hope's closest friend and was a friend she trusted.I found this interesting because Hope was best friends with her ex-boyfriend.

F. Hope was an amazing basketball player. Hope played all throughout high school. With her good friend who died at a young age.
G. Hope was a tough kid. She beat up a boy who was teasing another kid. She later got in trouble for it but she did the right thing. Because the child who was getting bullied was safe now.
H. Hope didn't always play goalie. Hope was the striker in her high school team and dominated the field. Her coach decided to put her in goal because he thought it was notable for her.
I. Hope was on dancing with the stars. The first time she was on the judges said that she needed to be more feminine.
J.Hope when to Richland high school. Hope when to the Washington Huskies for college and

Hope solo is one of the best goalkeepers in history and that would be a big honor to meet her. I would compliment her on her writing technique and how well organized the book was. The organization helped me find things easier. Secondly, I would congratulate her on overcoming the thought life she's had and how she's worked so hard to get where she was today. For example, if I was in her situation I would just flip out on everyone who would yell at me or be rude or unkind. I give Hope great respect for all she has gone tho.

Yes, I would recommend this book to a friend because it was a very touching story. For example, Hope's father dying really showed how much she loved him. This book was easy to understand and to comprehend. The story was good for a young reader, not a more advanced reader. The story was a relatable vibe that a young athlete would understand. I would one hundred percent recommend this book to an athlete.

In the review that I read the journalist states the main events in Hope’s life. I agree with all of their points. Hope's life was changing but the review states that Hope never played it safe. Which is one hundred percent correct. I loved the book and learned so many things from Hope Solo. The review was very close to what I was thinking about this

One of my favorite books is Point Guard, by Mike Lupica. This book is about a girl named Cassie who has been the best at sports her whole life. She played softball and girl’s basketball, but her team always won. Eventually she got tired of everything being easy, so she decided that she was going to play on the boy’s basketball team this year. Her friend Gus Morales doesn’t know what to think of this. He doesn’t know if or why he is against a girl playing with boys. Throughout the season Gus has to resolve a fight with Cassie and deal with a teammate who makes from his Dominican Heritage. This book is my favorite because I can relate it to my life when I used to play boy’s basketball and baseball. It was also just written recently, so some…

It is loosely based on a true story of a small high school basketball team. The story is located in a small farming community in Indiana where a new coach that has an unknown past and other than a traditional coaching style steps into a vacated role. The new ideas and ideals presented are met with reluctance and resistance from the players and local population who are engrained deeply with traditional thinking. Over time, and not without great resistance, the new coach inspires the team and the locals to embrace new ideals and structure. Along the way, the coach also inspires a former local basketball superstar to rejoin the team and in turn saves the coach from removal from his job as head coach. Although great underdogs, the team goes on to win the Indiana State Basketball…

A few main things that i really liked about this book was once Danny got to the camp he was not favored because of who his dad was, in fact it made it even. Harder on him due to the coach he drew as Ed Powers. Page 53 explains why the coach was so hard on Danny as he was living in the past and made up the story of Richie Walker backing out of his offer last minute. I liked that in the book as it lasted all summer and made Danny prove himself at the camp and was not just a free easy pass as his dad was Richie Walker. One other thing that I really like and showed what kind of a kid Danny really was when he stayed in the younger kids group and his room mate Zach was having a ruff time and Danny was there for him and got him to end up liking and staying at camp instead of going home. I didn't really have any dislikes about this book as it included many other…

From its use of symbolism to the life lesson. Jeannette Walls told her story in a unique way and it made me feel different emotion. After reading about what Jeannette and her siblings had to go through, made me think about my life. Personally, it made me grateful for having a family that provides me a shelter and treats me well. Of course, we all have ups and downs, but it just so hard to believe what she went through. And how she manages to stay strong and positive, when others can easily give up. I highly recommend this book to everyone, as if it can change your perspective on…

I enjoyed this book thoroughly and always kept me intrigued until the end. It had small twists in it that were rather easy to interpret but it was also very interesting. I don’t particularly relate to this book, although situations that I’ve endured have changed my perspective on life, in a positive aspect, and made me unprejudiced and versatile and not so…

    Starship Troopers Summary

The book that I read was titled Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein. The book has 308 pages and was published by Van Rees Press • New York. © 1959 by Robert A. Heinlein. One plus was that the book had a joyful ending which left me smiling. Once minus was that many of the scenes were dragged out, dull, and how to get through, while also being partially confusing. This is so because I am not well versed in military terminology and battlefield occurrences, resulting in me not relating to the book. One interesting factor from the book was that humans were fighting earth-like arachnids for livable planets and that the arachnids could build weapons and ships to rival humans. The book begins with Juan Rico describing ‘the shakes’ he gets before…

If I were to grade this book, I would give it an A++ because this is a very good book and shows that humans have the will to push through any obstacle. Even though they have gone through all of that God did not give them a break and show them mercy. Despite their hard troubles, they pushed through all the sadness and despair and turned it around to help other people not make the same mistakes as them.…

It’s probably the best story I’ve ever read in my life. I really like this book because it’s romantic and meaningful. In fact, the most important here is about meaning of the story. This is the most valuable lesson that the author wants to give everyone. Janine Cole, who works in the Brenton College cafeteria, so she really likes cooking and wants to be a famous chef that day. She is the person that the author wants to tell you “Nothing is impossible”. If you have a dream, you can do it one day! But you must always try one’s best and you will definitely succeed in the future after your attempts and your experiments. Don’t be scared unsuccessfully, you must remember that sentence : “Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm”. In addition, Randy Gordon, who always helped her a lot when she had many problems and finally, they were falling in love. This is actually the beautiful love story in the world.…
