Mr Piggyton Monologue
Mr. Piggyton was dancing over by the swingset before he stopped and stared at me. Yes, his eyes were pitch black, but I could still see that they were watching me. He slowly walked up to me; my heart beating louder after each step he took. I looked up at him as he stood in front of me, staring into his fearful eyes. "Hello, Casey. Would you like to play hide and seek?" he asked. His high pitched voice was echoing with the wind. Everything in my nightmares had echoes for some reason. I shook my head no, but I knew that it didn't matter rather I wanted to play or not. "I'm gonna count to ten, Casey," he said. "You might want to hide before then."

He ran off and began counting; I could hear his voice echoing as he counted. 1, 2. I was sitting

It all felt so real; despite the fact that it was clearly a nightmare, it all felt so real. I was standing with my back against the tree, my eyes were closed as I was too afraid to open them. I did open them eventually and when I did, he was standing right in front of me. There was no telling how long he'd been standing there watching me. "I found you, Casey," he said. I ran, but it seemed like no matter where I ran, he was there. I couldn't escape him; he lifted me up over his shoulders and we disappeared into the …show more content…
Piggyton in his full costume, walking toward me with the dollhouse in his hands. I turned to my right and ran through the door. I was inside a bathroom and just like the other rooms, the walls were drawn on with markers and crayons. There were drawings of Mr. Piggyton everywhere, you really could not escape them. I look toward the mirror and I stood in fear by what I had seen. My mouth, it was gone. Tears escaped and ran down my face as the lights started flickering until they turned off completely. It was dark and it all felt so real. I closed my eyes and I held them shut for what seemed like an eternity. That was the end of my nightmare; I woke up in my room, hoping to never dream of that

I walked out of Miss Shnyzer’s office. It had been about an hour ago that Toby Kavner, my name, was called over the loudspeaker. I plump down beside Max and start crunching down on my ovalteenies.…

Yesterday Ralph, Piggy, and I were assaulted in the night. Jack and his hunters buffeted us, and during the whole process they stole Piggy’s glasses! He needs them to see so we stormed over to Castle Rock to ask for them back. Then the worst thing happened…they rolled a boulder onto Piggy and he was killed. Over the past weeks I had grown close to Piggy and once he was murdered I had finally understood it all, Piggy was the one who smiled at me during the first meeting. I had then remembered him pulling me out of the crashed plane while I was half passed out. He had saved me and I stood there and had watched him die. My mom used to tell me that I didn’t have a temper and wouldn’t get mad (wow once I speak of my mom I realize I have forgot about other life on the Earth). I am angry though; I abhor Jack for killing my friend, he deserves the worst. I still remember Piggy saying, “Which is better–to be a pack of painted Indians like you are, or to be sensible like Ralph is?” (Golding 206), Piggy had always stood up for Ralph and I had admired…

    Eulogy of Piggy

Piggy was a thinker, the smartest kid I’ve ever known. It’s ironic to think that of all the boys, I knew Piggy the most and I do not even know his real name. I hurt’s me to think that I did not realize Piggy’s intelligence until it was almost too late. When we first met I laughed at him and teased him. If I could go back to that first time we met I would have probably still laughed at his confession of being teased as Piggy, but I would still want to know his name. Unfortunately, I will probably never know his true name, and even if I do I will never be able to call him by it. All the time on the island I really took Piggy for granted, his thoughts, his opinions. In the back of my mind I thought they would always be there, how wrong I was to think. I remember that first day clearly, it was far before most of us had spiraled out of control. While we were still innocent and naive. Piggy had seen me and he was the first boy I met on the island. We walked along the beach and found the conch shell that soon came to symbolize our new found society. Piggy had to tell me how to use it because of his asthma. He was the only boy at school with asthma and specs. I guess Piggy was always different from everyone else. Using the conch as he told me I blew and thus a meeting was called, the first meeting. The meeting was anything but organized, yet there was Piggy taking people’s names, the only one smart enough to think of knowing how many of us there were. But even he didn’t get that far, I didn’t give him the chance too. Later on when we set a bunch of dead wood on fire using Piggy’s specs and when Piggy noticed one of the younger boys or litluns was missing, I acted uninterested though deep down I knew I had failed that boy as chief. Piggy cared though, he made sure we were all clear on that, maybe he felt guilty as it was his specs to light the flame. But whenever he had tried to make things heard he was always opposed, mainly by Jack and even myself at times. I think that…
