Middle Grade Student Observation
Middle grade students are wonderful, and are often misjudged. This semester, in U-Teach 1202, I was placed in Dr. Won 7th grade Life Science class at Blackmon Road Middle School. I was excited to meet the teacher and students, on my first observation on September 15, 2016. I enjoyed my observation that took place at 8:50 to 9:45.
Observation was interesting. The lesson started off with a review. Dr. Won proceeded, telling the students they are learning something new, and asked if they read their book. The students open their book, and Dr. Won asked questions about macromolecules. Dr. Won turned on the smartboard which stated on it, what are the four most important groups of organic compounds in living things. The students raise their hands
