The company that we have visited is the Pepsi Cola Product Philippines Inc Davao Plant, in order for us to identify impacts of one of the big corporations here in Philippines. This will enable us to harness our skill in identifying impacts and providing measures. This study will enable us to learn something which will help us on the future as marketers and on the business fields.

Pepsi Philippines became a Filipino corporation in 1985 when the Pepsi-Cola Distributors of the Philippines Inc. led by the Escaler clan acquired franchising and bottling rights. In 1989, Premier Beverages, under Luis Lorenzo Sr. and the AFP-RSBS assumed majority ownership of the company and renamed it Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc.Manufacture of soft drinks. Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. is a Philippines-based company engaged in manufacturing, sales and distribution of carbonated soft-drinks (CSDs), noncarbonated beverages (NCBs) and confectionery products. The Company distributes its products to retail, wholesale, restaurants and bar trades. The Company operates in two business segments: CSD and NCB categories. The Company’s main products under its CSD category include brands Pepsi-Cola, 7Up, Mountain Dew, Mirinda, and Mug. The NCB brand category includes Gatorade, Tropicana/Twister, Lipton, Sting energy drinks and Propel fitness water. The Company is a licensed bottler of PepsiCo, Inc. and Pepsi Lipton International Limited in the Philippines.

Project Description

The following are used by the Pepsi Cola Davao Plant to reduce its waste from water, solid and atmosphere:

Waste Water Treatment - By using the waste water treatment it will enable the plant to lessen their waste water during its operation.

Air Pollution Control (Scrubber) - Air pollution Control or the “Scrubber” enables to minimize or eliminate the polluted smoke which was released by the machines. They help prevent waste materials from entering the environment. Recycling
