Verbal communication is further divided into written and oral communication. The oral communication refers to the spoken words in the communication process. Oral communication can either be face-to-face communication or a conversation over the phone or on the voice chat over the Internet. Spoken conversations or dialogs are influenced by voice modulation, pitch, volume and even the speed and clarity of speaking. Verbal communication would be a form of external information; this is because you’re gathering the customer’s feedback and what they think about your product. The purpose of verbal communication could have many advantages, for example in a meeting you could talk about the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. By doing this you are able to cover any concerns that you have with your product, and improve it.
Oral communication describes any interaction that makes use of spoken words, and is very important in the business world. It is very important that this skill is done efficiently in a small business like Project LYD and the managers whom work form the business, who are the most likely ones to participate in this kind of communication as part of their job is to do the following: client/customer

Informal is when the conversation is calm and comfortable because it is usually used when talking to friends as it allows the speaker to talk freely. Formal communication is when the conversation is spoken in a professional manner, for example between a doctor and patient. This type of communication is more likely to be used in interviews and in work settings as it shows professionalism. Another type of…

Communication is verbal or non-verbal. Verbal is spoken (oral) which can be accomplished face-to-face. This type of communication is central to establish relationships between people. For example a professional in a hospital will use verbal communication to inform a patient of any procedure or care task that is given. This builds a sense of trust because communicating face-to-face establishes that the professional has time to care for the patient, which makes the patient feel looked after. Verbal communication also allows any questions to be raised and gives opportunity to answer. This is effective as any misunderstanding issues would be raised.…

Verbal communication is very effective when having an interview whether that is face to face or over the telephone. While it is face to face the person in the interview can use their body language as well as talking to convey their point across. If it is on the telephone the employer can see how well you can hold yourself on the phones. I do not believe the interview process can be handled by any other types of communication. The source for an interview at the Blackpool and Fylde College can be both internal and external as it could be an interview for a course or an interview for a job therefore these sources are appropriate for this situation.…

The advantages of oral communication includes the fact that it offers quick feedback where each person can visibly see the person in which they are talking to, therefore both people can read each other’s facial expressions and body language (nonverbal communication).
