Logan’s Personal Narrative
My life was all easy for a few years but the moment my brother came into my life that all transferred.Ever since that moment my whole life has transferred. Here are a few reasons why. I claim that my brother being born has shaped me into the person I am today, because he has made me a little more insane. He has affected the way I do things. He has made me an older brother.
Since my brother has been born he has made me a little more vexatious. I used to be all level headed but ever since my little brother came into my life I feel like my head is about to explode. He is constantly making really annoying sounds and at times I want to ship him off to

I used to do things the easiest way possible but now I have to do some things differently. Sometimes if I do things the old way then he makes a big deal out of it or he tipsters on me and gets me in trouble, and I don’t want to deal with that. Or he just annoys me while I do it. I have had to change the things I do. Finally I have developed through this and have got used to the new way of doing stuff.
My little brother has also made me a big brother. Now I have to set a undoubted example and be careful of what I do. He looks to me in most things and I want to set a undoubted example. I don’t want to be that big brother that leads him in trouble. I have developed this because I have had to set an example to him through everything that he sees me do.
My brother being born has shaped me into the person I am today, because, he has made me be a little more insane. He has affected the way I do things. He has made me an older brother. I have developed over time by learning how to do things differently. I have also had to be vigilant of what I do and say because of him. I am a new man because of this. In conclusion, I am a better person than I would have been if he had not been

Having been previously assigned a little brother I believe that my development of Ben James from what he was to what he used to be had a decent effect on what kind of person he is today. Everyone took a part in this development but, I believe that I did help, while also remaining good friends with Ben. (He unfortunately is leaving for the army after this semester).…

Logan's Run was an excellent stylish sci-fi film back in 1975, and still is now. It’s a film that can really capture your imagination, and has a lot of great themes and ideas at its core that makes relevant even in our times. Though films like Forbidden Planet are considered much more endearing and timeless classics over this, Logan’s Run still manages to maintain a strong cult following thanks to its unique ability to mesh action and special effects with a quality story, which results in a singular, entertaining, and somewhat timeless picture that raises the topic of personal liberty over a centrally-imposed tyrannical system. Like most of the classic sci-fi films of old, this delves more into the realms of big concepts and social commentary…

When I first received the news that I would have a younger brother, I was filled with joy and excitement, being that I would finally have someone to play with, that is until I found out some shocking news. After a few months of my mother’s pregnancy, I was informed that most boys do not like playing the same way I do, for example boys don’t play dress up or play with Barbie’s. Once I had received this awful news, I no longer wanted a little brother. I had become in denial and did not want to accept that I had to share my parents with someone else, more importantly; I did not want to give up being the center of attention, which I had come to love. I…

Little brothers were engineered to annoy their sibling; luckily for me my little brother kept that to a minimum. For me my little brother was my best friend. Jerry was always athletic; any sport he played, did he excelled in. His intelligence was enlightening. My favorite characteristics however, was his heart; his heart was full of love. Jerry always saw the beauty in people, and nature. Sadly, he never saw the beauty in himself. Jerrys teenage years were not easy. I always knew how important jerry was for me, however, I never realized how much he would change my life. By one thing he attempted when he was a teenager, I was never the same person-- he was never the same person.…

I grew up in a household consumed by sports. At a young age my father drilled things like ESPN, football, and elbow pads into me and my brother’s heads. Both of my brothers were naturally gifted in athletics. I on the other hand, was not. I couldn’t catch a football, run a lap, or shoot a basket to save my life. When seventh grade rolled around I made a deal with my dad that if I got a part in the spring production I could quit sports altogether. That year the play was “Cinderella” and I was nervous because I had never auditioned for anything ever in my life, but there was no way in hell I was going back to neck injuries and smelly jockstraps. I took a deep breath, walked onto the stage and gave it my best shot. The next day I found out that…

Obviously, I know what they hate because it’s a sibling thing. Also, their constant bickering has left me knowing everything that annoys them. It’s a beautifully broken relationship that I had with them. I was able to talk to them but not really spend time with them, especially my older brother Qasim. He and I had our fair share of fights before the trip, believe me on that one, but the differences that made us clash is now why we stick together. Though I would never admit it to him, he’s most certainly my other half. Spending a day running around the park and fighting over which ride to go on first did some wierd therapy on us because now he is their for me whenever I need him and annoyingly when I don’t need him. I most certainly became more open minded because of that trip. I never shut out anything thing said to me, regardless of whether it’s important or not. I also never shut out anything said by anyone, regardless of whether I know them or not. I didn’t notice this before but, whatever you do in your home follows you out into the vast…

I never imagined a seven-year would have such a huge impact in my life, without him I would be a lost person living in this dark pit with no one. He may not understand the situation, but his innocence of not knowing allows me to become a part of the innocence that was never a part of my life. I have become a more compassionate person because I realized that I need to show him the support he gave me and help him in any situation. The process is still ongoing with the ups and the downs, but the space where the happiness was once empty is starting to fill. I can always count on my brother to put a smile on my face even if it is for the simplest things. My brother’s impact has made me want to become a therapist to help other children who may find themselves in a similar situation and give them the compassion and attention that I didn’t have for the longest…

Four hundred and eighty three people, stuck together like glue for the past four years. We all felt as if the day would never come, like seeing it cloud up but never getting any rain, like getting snow on the ground and no snow day. What some people complained about and dreaded going to was something I had grown to enjoy and tend to miss now. After spending four short years in the same routine, going to the same place, seeing my same close friends every day I really learned to enjoy what is happening because it seems like it is there and gone. To me it was really one of those things you could say “don’t blink because you might miss it.”…

    Brotherly Love

When you have an older sibling often at a young age you use them as your idol, almost as if you're their own personal god. They're essentially the cool kid at your school that you model yourself after. You want to dress, talk and even eat like them. But at some point one of the siblings find that this admiration is often easily converted into worship that leads the older sibling to believe that they are able to psychology control the other. This unfortunately last for only so long before the younger one stops dealing with the shit that he or she is dealt and decides that they don't need to listen to their siblings as they both came from the same womb, or something of that matter. This to me is often how sibling rivalry occurs, as it is also the point where the sibling relationship goes through its roughest of times. I've heard of people being in their thirty's that are still bitter from growing up enduring a sibling relationship. Some that feel their relationship can never be sane and have accepted the fact that as siblings they just don't like each other. I find this strange seeing how siblings are so much alike. A good percentage of how you turn out in life is dependent upon your siblings. I guess there's not a realization that because of each other's siblings' likeness we can in many ways best relate to that of a brother or sister.…
