Many students encounter problems in getting good grades in class, which is mostly because they are not learning things in a good way. In the article, "Learning" from Your First Job by Robert Leamnson, PhD., the author explains the essential strategies for learning in order to be successful in the college career. Our brain is made of billions of tiny cells called neurons. When we are trying to absorb an information or remember particular things, part of our brains are transmitting signals from one neuron to another. Now that I have already found out that in order to learn in a good way is to concentrate and pay attention, as well as not to only understand but to remember, then the next step, I will be applying them in real life. In other words, to every class I attend because I have the idea of why they are necessary for the learning process and I understand how my brain works. Perhaps we ever had that one teacher who always give handouts about what he is going to cover on that lecture day. It has both an advantage and disadvantage. By giving handouts to students, the teacher does not need to talk too much because they are all mentioned in the handout. But on the other side, it makes students lose the interest of coming to class. They can just ask their classmate to copy for them because they know what the teacher is going to talk about and it is pretty much the same with the handout. There is also this kind of students where
