Keep abortion legal Many think that abortion should be legalized in all countries. The issue of abortion is one of the most controversial topic discussed today, especially amongst teenagers. Many people define abortion as murder. To put it in better terms, it is more of a "termination of pregnancy that results in the death of the fetus, but it is usually used to describe pregnancies that are intentionally terminated rather than to describe miscarriages or abortions that occur naturally" ("Facts on Pregnancy and Abortion"). There are many facts on the issues of abortion such as" nearly half of the U.S. women will have an abortion by the time they are 45 years old" (Planned Parenthood). Abortion will prevent unwanted and abused children. There are many women out there who neglect their children and treat them as if they are worthless. According to the article" facts on abortion" a 19 year old who lived below poverty lines explains," well I allegedly had a son and right now he's grown up with out a father, just me and him…of you ain't got a lot of help with the family support, it's really hard. Sometimes I can't handle it, but I have to, you know for my son's sake I believe right now, I'm gonna take care of myself and my son." Rape or incest is another reason why woman get abortions. Women choose not to keep the baby during these types of incidents because they may feel the child doesn't belong to them. They may feel that the child will remind them or bring back memories of the incident. In conclusion, having an abortion should be a woman's freedom of choice; it's her body. Why should anyone else have say? Although many people are against abortion, there is no better way to get rid of an unwanted pregnancy. As stated before many describe it as murder and if it's something being argued against, then may be why. If abortion is something agreed upon, then it's looked at in a way of not putting a life to waste. Or in other words not bringing children that are not going to be able to take care

Pro-choice advocates argue that an embryo has no rights because it is only a potential and not an actual person, and that it should not have rights that come before those of the pregnant woman. They also say that whether or not to go through with a pregnancy is an absolute personal choice, because it involves a woman’s body, personal health, and future. There are many reasons why women consider abortion. Over half of all women who have an abortion used a contraceptive method during the month they became pregnant. When these methods fail, it leads women to consider other options. The reasons most frequently cited were that having a child would interfere with education, work, or ability to care for dependants.
