INTRODUCTION - LEADERSHIP & EMPLOYABILITY MODULE (TERM 1)

Welcome to the course specific element (term 1) of the Leadership & Employability module. The purpose of this element is to help you pull together and reflect on all the different strands of your degree and to try and ensure your future employability.
Term 1 will build on the skills you have developed in other taught modules, provide an overview of the graduate market and help you to focus on an activity relevant to your degree discipline.
Career Management will feature throughout the year, and there will be specific lectures and seminars in term 2. However, Career Management is not just about getting your first job on graduation, which some of you may have organised already. It also encompasses longer term aspirations, career development and lifelong learning. The lectures and seminars in term 1 will allow you to focus specifically on accounting and finance across all sectors of the economy, helping you to identify and develop
