Informative Essay On Sound Masking
My workplace host was Russell Cooper, and he is a sound masker. I job shadowed him on April 28th, around 9-3. What he does is he sound masks, like helping out where they go, and also help building them, and working with them. He is in a business where you'll need to always be ready to set up and be ready to do a job for the sound masking. Some of my interests in this job would be putting together the sound masked and also helping develop one. They're very interesting on how they match a human voice to the machine to literally mask it out. Some knowledge or skill you'll need is math just because you'll have to know how to measure angles and stuff, also you'll have to be somewhat creative to help make more slick designs for the sound masker.

When I first heard it I thought of something totally different, I never thought it would be using a machine to mask voices out. I was surprised about how they work and how he came up of the idea for sound masking. They work by using a device that measures the humans decibels in his voice, then they change the machine to that some decibel, then when they turn on the machine it masks out the voice. The creator of the machine said when he designed it he thought of sleeping with a fan on. You don't notice the fan but you can't hear anything else. Yes I would consider a field in this job.
