ANSWER:
Nowadays, people always live under high pressure; hence, they usually find something to make their life easier. Some people find the relaxation in a bar or a pub, immerse themselves in music and drink some wine. Some people make some dates with their friend to chat, laugh, joke with each others. There are many ways to relax after working; but, the convenient way that besides people anytime is watching TV. However, watching TV to relax is just one of purposes. Generally, depending on the purposes of watching TV, there are three kind of TV watcher: information, entertainment and the TV-phile. In the first place, information – driven TV watchers turn on their television sets to watch the news. They are interested in the political and economic aspects of their local and the globe and they like some channel such as: VTV1, BBC, CNN and so on. Moreover, if they prefer nature than politics, they will choose Discovery or VTV2 to enjoy. Therefore, the key is that they watch TV to get information and knowledge related to their life and hobby. Secondly, the entertainment TV watchers sit in front of their TVs for the sole purpose of pleasure from the activity. They do not want to be bothered with the political and economic news because they just want to relax after a day‘s work, watch something that does not relevant to their work, their life. These TV watchers want to entertain and they like watching some channels such as: VTV3, YanTV, VCTV7 and so on. Finally, the TV – philes are people who turn on the TV because it gives them the different sense of comfort. These people watch TV even when there is nothing good on, because they have anything else to do and they just watch to kill time. They can stay up late for the special movie at night, they know all the program schedules, they turn on MTV or HBO, Starmovies and they watch them the whole day. To conclude, people watch TV can be divided into three groups: to get information, to entertain and to kill time. Personally, if people can watch TV and combine all the purposes of using TV, it will be helpful and brings many benefits.
