How To Prevent Gun Related Deaths Since 1970
“A new way to tackle gun deaths.” Is an article by Nicholos Kristof posted by Nytimes.com on October 3rd. Detailing the statistics of gun related deaths since 1970, and explaining ways to prevent gun fatalities. “Since 1970, more Americans have died from guns than died in all U.S. wars going back to the American Revolution.” According to the direct quote from the article, it states that around 1.4 million American citizens have died in wars since the American Revolution, and 1.45 million american citizens have died since 1970 due to gun related deaths. Preventing fatalities by guns would be an easy step forward, we would have to implement actions to halt certain civilians from owning weapons. These actions include universal background
