Through motorcycling, Enforcement Motorcycle Clubs provide their members with meaningful social participation and interpersonal relations, which re-establishes meaning and a sense of purpose in their lives. This book tells the stories of some club members to get their story on how they want the citizens to perceive what they do in their clubs. The author gives some information on how their political organization works. It consists of a president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, road captain, and sergeant-at-arms. Localized groups of a single, large motorcycle club are called chapters or charters, and the first chapter established for a motorcycle club is referred to as the mother chapter. The president of the mother chapter serves as the president of the entire MC, and sets club policy on a variety of issues. The Renegade Pigs, the Warthogs…
Known for its motto ‘blood in,blood out’ this gang requires you to kill somebody to become a member and a member who tries to leave is usually killed. Also known as The Brand or AB it has around 10,000 members. Responsible for around 30% prison deaths, this White supremacist gang was founded in San Quentin state prison in 1960’s as a defence against black people in the prison who were forming a violent gang called The Black Guerrilla Family. AB is involved in organized crime activities like drug trafficking, prostitution…
The Naughty Nasty Gangster Crips is a street gang located in the area of Ramona Park. This particular gang has been tied to some brutal crimes in the local area. Most of the crimes they are associated with include shootings and murder. Like most of these gangs, they have been in the press for beating up and killing local residents. Along with that, some of their members have been charged in a couple of hate crimes cases. Considering their gang is a hybrid gang, most of the women will help assault other…
The Aryan Brotherhood originated in San Quentin prison in 1967 and was originally, established to provide protection for White individuals from Black and Hispanic gangs found in San Quentin. “In the beginning, the AB had one true purpose, to stop blacks and Mexicans from abusing whites.” (Ferranti). All though their numbers are small their eagerness for violence and a no back down mentality has earned them the reputation of one of the worst prison gangs in America. Coupled with their motto “blood in, blood out” their initiation customs which involve “if you wanted to join, all you had to do was to kill, or attempt to kill, a black or Mexican inmate.” (Ferranti) are some of the most violent in the gang arena. Also, the brotherhood was very selective…
But the AB still used his coterie of female fans to smuggle drugs and weapons into San Quentin. The AB is a notoriously deadly organization. Some years ago, authorities calculated that while the group’s members made up less than one tenth of 1% of the U.S. prison inmate population, they were responsible for 18% of all prison murders. In recent years, authorities have been repeatedly frustrated by the way that imprisoned AB leaders have been able to organize and direct major criminal enterprises even from solitary confinement, where most are held. In 2002, they moved to indict 29 leaders of the federal AB organization, all of them held in various prisons around the country, for violations of federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. Twenty-one of the leaders were charged with death penalty offenses, even though many were already serving life terms, because prosecutors felt that was the only way they could stop their criminal activities. Among those charged with capital offenses were AB commissioners Mills and Bingham. But the tactic failed…

Honor played a major role in novel, Killer Angels. Throughout the book, Honor was a concept that remained important to members of the armies, regardless of whether they were supporting the Union or the Confederacy. Every action and decision was made with the intention of being heroic and as honorable as possible.…
Historical Event Depicted: This novel illustrates the Battle of Gettysburg, often known as the turning point of the great American Civil War. Southern slave-holding states, known as the Confederate States of America, fight the war with loyal Union states for secession. The Battle of Gettysburg is where Union Major General George Gordon Meade’s Army of the Potomac defeats Confederate General Robert E. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia, putting an end to Lee’s invasion of the North.…
There are many prison gangs in California. Just to name a few are the Aryan Brotherhood, La Nuestra Familia, and the gang of this essay, The Mexican Mafia. Most prison gang’s such as The Mexican Mafia were formed as a protection from other gangs and eventually became the first prison gang in California. To get to know how this gang became one of the most powerful prison gangs, I will discuss the history of the gang, the gang’s core beliefs and, how to identify gang members by their tattoos and symbols that are associated them with them.…
A. The Confederate officer who I like the most is Robert Edward Lee. I believe that a strong leadership is needed to captain the Confederate Army. General Lee is the commander of the the army, so he is certainly a brilliant leader. Also, Lee is “a gentleman” (xvi). “He does not drink or smoke or gamble or chase women”; he does not believe in slavery. Most importantly, I like Lee’s disposition. He can control himself very well and never loose his temper. In contrast, General Ambrose Powell Hill is “a moody man” (xvii). His bad temper makes me like him the least.…
With an estimated annual revenues in excess of $100 million from Chicagoland narcotics sales and street tax (its total income from various front organizations, social service scams and other illegal income sources is difficult to assess), the gang is one of Chicago's most successful, albeit illegal, home-grown corporations in the modern American underground economy.…
Setting of the book: This novel takes place during present times, but has several historical facts dating back several hundred years. The setting takes place from Harvard University in Massachusettes to Rome, Italy where Vatican City is located. The story takes place from underground tunnel systems and secret society dungeons and lairs, to the inside of famous architectural…
The Aryan Brotherhood is known to be strongest in the southwest and pacific regions. They are weakest in northeastern regions, where the African-American population is more dominant. It has been stated that the Aryan Brotherhood is growing. As of now, there are approximately 500 members. The criminal activities that they are involved in are murder, kidnapping, racketeering, and drug distribution. At least one example of how dangerous it is in prison for these members is the ABT leader Kelly Ray Ellery and other members ordered subordinates to kill a prospective member and make it “messy as possible” to send a message to gang members to cooperate with law enforcement. They also ordered to return the man’s severed finger as a trophy.…
