Known for its motto ‘blood in,blood out’ this gang requires you to kill somebody to become a member and a member who tries to leave is usually killed. Also known as The Brand or AB it has around 10,000 members. Responsible for around 30% prison deaths, this White supremacist gang was founded in San Quentin state prison in 1960’s as a defence against black people in the prison who were forming a violent gang called The Black Guerrilla Family. The Almighty Latin King Nation first emerged in Chicago during the 1940s when several young Puerto Rican males organized into a club. Their goal was to help each other overcome the problems of racism and prejudice that newly arriving Puerto Rican immigrants were experiencing. The Latin Kings are Chicago's largest gang and have been involved in numerous violent acts. Although the original members were of Puerto Rican decent, most members are now Mexican-American. They now allow members of all races to join, yet they are mostly composed of Spanish, Caribbean, Latvian, Italian, Portuguese, Mexican or South American members.     The Aryan Brotherhood was formed in 1967 in San Quentin State Prison in California. They were originally comprised of Irish decent and former members of the fifties biker tips such as the Diamond Tooth Gang and The Bluebird gang. The Aryan Brotherhood was founded by Dallas Scott to fight the Black Guerrilla Family and was originally a white supremacist group.
