First Car
My First Car
The first car that i ever had to call mine was a 1995 Acura Integra, it had white rims and a white paint job. I bought this car from my grandpa for very cheap because he didnt want it and he wanted to help me out, i believe i ended up paying $1500 for it. When i first bought the car it was completely stock, since it is a foreign car i decided to spend money on it and upgrade it and make it “mine” because Japanese Domestic Market parts are very cheap. I decided that i would also do all the work to it by myself to make the car more personal. I started off by adding a new stereo system and continued off of that eventually i had done several upgrades which includes, a new exhaust system, new headers, underglow (inside and out), new rims, and a new suspension lowering system. I put a lot of time and money to it at the end and unfortunately I crashed it at the beginning of my senior year on my way to work when i was going around a bend and there was a slippery substance on the road, i completely lost control of my car and fishtailed straight into a pole. The car was completely wrecked and totaled, unfortunately the damages were more expensive than the car itself so i ending up salvaging it and sending it to the junkyard. It sucks that i lost my first car because of all the memories and effort that came along with the car, although i don't have it now it will always be one of my favorite cars i have owned.

While my previous car was not a terrible car, I had lacked a sense of ownership in it due to it being handed to me. Purchasing my very own car that I decided on, it gave me pride in what I was driving. I invested thousands into it fine-tuning and modifying it in any way that I desired. I learned many useful insights about automobiles, as well as having fun in the process. As the rules were for my first car, I had to come up with the money for the gas and insurance as well. Working harder and more frequently, I was able to afford and maintain the financial responsibilities required to have my…

The first thing one notices about my car is the astonishing good looks. That is really the first thing anyone notices about my car because it is to eye catching. With a sparkling patriot blue paint job with a big, bold, off-white racing stripe down the center, accompanied by two miniature racing stripes along the sides near the bottom, my car is definitely a sight to see. The way the sunlight plays off the beautiful chrome accents are simply stunning: glistening and shining perfectly from every angle. The vinyl hard top exterior has a certain white color that blends flawlessly with the racing stripes that make them pop. The special edition pony interior is nothing to be looked over. A scene of a stampede of wild mustangs was carefully embossed on to the steel-blue leather seat backs and it is topped of with a simple, yet elegant jewel that reads the word “FORD”. They are comfortable too. You will never want to get up once you settle in to one of its heated seats. Under the hood is a different story.…

The sound of my blinker was all I could hear as I turned my head to the left to see if I could switch lanes. I pushed my foot down on the gas pedal and picked up my speed to fifty miles an hour. I looked back at the car in front of me, I was frozen, unable to move at all and all I could think to myself was, “Oh Shit!” as I watched my car slam into the shimmering brake lights of the Mustang in front of me. I just had my very first car accident and it was my fault.…
