Drunk Driving Narrative
“Mm-hmm,” Katie cocked her MAC-11 and kept her eyes straight ahead to the van. As I neared the van again, the man loaded another drum magazine into his RPK, cocked the action and resumed firing at us.
A civilian car swerved in front of us in an evasive maneuver, and I tried to get around it but clipped its left rear corner, and it spun out on the side of the road.
“Shit!” I looked back at the car which had screeched to a halt then turned my attention back to the van.
The man in the back fired some more as the van navigated through the maze of cars on the freeway with me right behind it. Some stray bullets hit or grazed the cars we passed. One bullet went through the windshield of a Honda and hit the driver, and the car spun out of control.
