Evaluate Individual Writing Process
One objective that stood out to me was to evaluate individual writing process to allow flexibility in adapting writing tasks and situations. I chose this objective because I definitely learned how to write better with figuring out my own writing process or what works best for me when writing. Also revising each essay that was assigned to us helped me not only fix my piece of writing but I learned how to revise others writing as well. When others revised my writing I got to see a glimpse of what other people are thinking of my writing and that makes me able to fix my writing more and learn from it.

My writing process all depends on what I am writing. Some writings I can sit down and write the whole things and be done with it, while others can take me multiple days or even weeks. I normally sit down and work on it until I finish, get tired of it, or a hit a roadblock. I try to stop when I feel like I am writing the same thing over and over or if I feel like I just need a break. Most of the time, if I feel like I am writing and it is really bad, it is because it is and I need to take a break and come back to it later. Working on it in pieces normally works well for me, to break it up and take it a little bit at a time. I normally struggle when I do not like what I am writing about or when I run out of information to put in my writing. I…

The Wichita Kid from “The Gunfighter” by Alden Nowlan and a young man living on the streets of Calgary both demonstrate that we fear what we do not understand. Citizens need to personally comprehend someones situation before they can help or judge them directly. Homelessness and poverty are often hard situations to face considering how uncomfortable and awkward it can become. When Kevin O’Brien has a short conversation with Wichita he learns that he is unaware of reality and living his delusional life as a famous gunfighter. Confused and not understanding Wichita’s situation, Kevin tries to solve his own guilt by lending the young boy some spare change. Much like Kevin O’Brien when I encountered the young unfortunate man in Calgary my own heart ached, so I tossed him a couple of loonies and left. Although you feel major misery there is rarely anything you can do to support them without getting deeply involved.…

My present writing ability has been beneficial for the most part throughout other courses and the professional world. My present job as a police dispatcher has been continually impressed with my writing ability. Working in a police department, my coworkers ask for assistance when composing emails or writing reports. My greatest advantage lies in the fact that I possess a fairly broad vocabulary and can usually offer words that better describe an event, situation or other attribute. I feel that this has helped me greatly throughout the hiring process. Forming a strong resume has been somewhat undemanding since I'm able to utilize more sophisticated words for simple tasks, qualities or skills.…

My writing process has always been a frustrating one. I like writing, but I don't think I'm very good at it. When I was younger, I loved letting my creative side shine by writing silly stories and pretending I was Stephen King, using words that I didn't even understand. My dad read me Shel Silverstein's books of poems and and drawings. Those books inspired me so much to write and to draw and be creative on a blank sheet of paper.…

And you need to produce it using a process that doesn't kill your desire to actually write the story. Here is my ten-step process for writing a design document. I use this process for writing my novels, and I hope it will help you.…

My Writing Process Writing is a process that came about because people believed that it was critical to record what was happening and being created at that time. Many people view writing as a formal and elaborate form of communication, when in reality, writing is just an extended form of speech. The stance I take on my writing is that when someone else reads my work they should hear my voice and envision me reading the paper to them. Because of the philosophy I have on writing, I avoid the formal process that includes 13 multi-layered steps.…

This essay will indentify similarities and differences between the individual writing process and the collaborative writing process. Collaborative writing is the way that people in the fields of business, government, and technology compose large writing assignments (Baecker, 1993). There are many advantages to collaborative writing. One advantage is that writing with other people is very helpful because they can offer knowledge and skills that an individual writer may not possess. Having many writers help produce a document can relieve a lot of stress. If a writer has less to write, they will have more time to focus on what they are writing and make their portion much better.…
