Ethics Program for Nonprofit Management Consulting Services

Code of Conduct
Our business relies on getting our customer to know and trust us during the initial stage of our relationship such that they will continue working with us for the long term. To accomplish this we must treat our clients with respect and provide a high level of service that is unattainable from another company. Our clients are placing a high level of trust in us and we must honor that commitment by ensuring no confidential information is disseminated outside our company or to those inside the company who may have a conflict of interest. Above all else we will be professional with our clients and work to the best of our ability to provide them with unrivaled service.
Since we specialize in working with nonprofit companies the majority of clients we work with will have an Ethical Code as well. When available we will take their Code of Ethics into account for any work we will be doing where we act on their behalf.
Since we work with many nonprofit and volunteer based organizations we encourage everyone to volunteer and donate time as they see fit with the following guidelines; 1) Volunteering will not be done to curry favor with the business before they are a client. 1) Volunteering will not be done during an active consulting project with the company you are consulting with. 2) It is up to you to determine if volunteering for one of our clients will result in a conflict of interest.

Training Program
All New-Hire employees will receive a minimum of Four (4) hours of Ethics training during their first week with the company. At a minimum the following will be covered; 1) Code of Conduct 1) Actual ethical situations that have arisen with the company in the past a. Bribes / Gifts b. Conflicts of

I want to join the Volunteer Program at Humber River Hospital for many reasons. Firstly, I really love helping people and I feel like getting an experience in this program could really allow me to express my full potential to make a person’s day better. I want to do everything I can to contribute to my community. I also want to go into the medical field someday and I really think this program is the best place to start. I say this because it will give me the chance to interact with different types of patients and visitors which will allow me to expand my communication and problem-solving skills. It would also give me a taste of the hospital environment. I also believe that I have the skills it takes for this program because I have many volunteering experiences like: at my elementary school’s summer camp, running high school events and at the Gibson House Museum.…

The community also looses the same virtue of responsibility in the members. The free volunteering is argued to instill a sense of responsibility to the students when this can be imparted on the students through many other ways such as class conduct and home instructions. The reason therefore becomes mere excuse used by those supporting mandatory volunteering to further their course.…
