Strenghts and Weaknesses
One strenghts of our production was the use of a large varity of shots through out our advert. Our advert starts off with the main character in medium long shot and ends on a close up of football boots. We have used shots like long shot, over the shoulder, low angle shot and others. We wanted to create an advert that has verity of different shot to show the football boots and make it the main protagoinst, to grab the audince's attention. Our intended idea was to attract the audince eye and i think we have achieved the goal as the football boots was iconic product that stood out. We also used persuasive techniques like rewards, For example the football boots 'makes you the best player out in the field'. If you don't buy the football boots than you will never be the player you dream off.
A weakness of our production was the uses of a large varity of shots through out out advert. Our advert Starts of with main character in medium ling shot and through out the advert, we used the same shot over and over again, which doesn't become fleunt and effective as we thought it would have. The production really needed more large varity of shots, to make the football boots stand out and give reasone why this particular football boots is better and standing out than any other boots out there. The shots we planned didn't intentially go as we planed because the shots we thought of doing was either very hard to do or impossible to do. This made it hard for us becuase we had to think of new shots to shoot at exact point of the time and also be keeping in mind the shot has to effective as the other shot we were intented to do.
One strenght of our production was the use of sound effects and music. Our advert starts off with an atmospheric football stadium sound effect and gradullay translates to music. We decide to use an energetic music from Black Eyed Peas (Mas Que Nada), which prefectly matches the advert becuase of how fast paced the advert is. We

Often varying in message and purpose, commercials and advertisements have proven to be successful forms and methods of mass communication. The goals of advertisements is to appeal to their target audience in an effort to encourage or persuade that demographic to purchase their products and become their customer. Some companies may even have more than one commercial in an effort to reach and persuade those that are outside of their usual demographic to begin purchasing their products. Not only taking into account the obvious message, it is important to also analyze and look into the subcomponents, such as imagery and dialogue, that makes conveying their message successful.…

One of the most dominant parts of the advertisment is the two “shittyfluted” songs (low quality recorder audio vaguely resembling professional music) playing in the background. By modifying the well known songs “My Heart Will Go On” and “A Ha,” this music startles the viewing athletes and intrigues them to find out what the product is. Moreover, the company mocks traditional advertisements by shooting a off-centered 360 degree video of the ShoeMod.…

My finished animation closely resembles my initial idea as the story behind it is exact but the quality isn’t as good as id like it to be. The reason for this is we didn’t have a sound studio to recorded to sound in so the sound frequency wasn’t monitored. The lighting also wasn’t up to the standard I would of liked as we didn’t have a dark room to recorded in so we could control the light. My target audience is teenagers between the age ranges of 14 to 18 year olds. Even though my animation can be perceived as quite child ish I have carried out research in to exciting adverts for my product and also created a questionnaire for my own. Which have given me the results that this style of advert works effetely. I have created a Ben and jerry’s advert will is recognisable to the brand name but not copied. The reason I decide to try and make my animation recognisable to the brand name is because Ben and jerry’s ice cream have a very different style of advert to any others and therefore have been successful also strait away people know it’s a Ben and jerry’s advert. The characters and the voice over used is very typical of the Ben and jerry style advert. First stage im making my decision on what material to use to make my animation, I had to understand how animation started and developed. I did this by looking at previous animations created and look at why are more popular than others. I then had to look at all the different types of materials used in animation and come up with the type of animation I thought worked well for my product. After doing some experiments with paper animation and drawing animation I decided to have a go at clay motion which worked effectively for me put I also interpreted paper animation for the background. Within making this animation I solely created all elements my self. The production didn’t stay on time as it was about a week behind on every task although I still managed to stay within the deadline. The…

In this essay I have chosen to compare two adverts. I chose two from a magazine called ‘VOGUE ', I chose them as they both were linked by the theme of fashion but were advertising different products, this will help me show differences between the adverts but the fashion theme will help me to also highlight similarities. The first advert I chose was by a company called ‘Garrard ' they make fashion accessories such as leather accessories, silverware and also jewellery which is what they are mainly known for. The advert I chose has specifically advertised jewellery in this case a ring and a necklace. On face value the advert has a ring and a necklace laid on a picture of a of the U.K flag. Part of both pieces of jewellery look like wings and they are put into position so that the flag looks as though it has wings. The words rock hard are also on the flag this is a 'Garrard ' logo which is also used on the website. At the bottom of the advert is the address of ‘Garrard ' shops, the website address and the ‘Garrard ' logo in bold letters. The second advert I have chose is by a designer called ‘Yves Saint Laurent ' or ‘YSL ', this company is known mainly for its perfume and clothes. This advert is advertising a new perfume fragrance however there are six people in the advert who are wearing YSL clothes but the advert is not specifically advertising them. On face value the advert is focusing on a woman surrounded by men the men are in suits and the woman is In a white dress at the bottom of the advert is the ‘Yves Saint Laurent ' logo and above this is the word Cinema which is the name of the fragrance. Also in the bottom right corner of the advert is a picture of the perfume bottle. These adverts attracted me as they were both bold and in your face so I was immediately attracted to look at them.…

In society it seems that everywhere we look we are surrounded by advertisements whether it is television commercials, billboards or advertisements. Obviously, the main purpose of advertisements is to get the consumer to purchase the product. Print advertisements are an extremely effective way to reach a mass audience because the advertisements are in print, the use of color, text and photography are all key factors in luring the consumers in to buying their product. Advertisements cannot simply attempt to sell the product in question; they must make it appeal to the consumer. It is important that advertisements not only attempt to make the product they are trying to sell clear but also to actually make the advertisement mean something to us, the consumer.…

Television commercials rely mainly on these elements when trying to convince their customers to buy their products. “They use images that are attractive to their target market putting emphasis on their demographic differences. Some use popular songs or top models to capture customers’ attention” (Chandler, 2004). Attracting attention to the meanings of colours and how they apply to different people or relate to different themes in different locations in the world is how the media obtains their objective. So sophisticated is the process that many firms have decided to spend millions in order to come up with television commercials that are more like Hollywood movies, giving the idea that the particular product is a whole experience in the episode given. Even more sophisticated is sponsorship at events such as NBA games, the world cup and political campaigns.…
