I was an undeclared freshman who hated school and was thinking about dropping out to work in the union. The only reason I went to college was because I received basketball scholarships to many schools and I wanted to continue the sport I loved to play. Talking to my family about this they obviously did not want me to drop out and they wanted me to continue school and get a diploma.
