Client Interview Essay
I interviewed my Aunt, Natalie Brent, who is a psychologist in an elementary school in New Jersey. I began with a series of ten questions that involved discussing what a typical day looked like, how long it took her to get where she is today, what frustrates her in her job, and if she is genuinely happy with what she does on a daily basis. By conducting this interview with a family member, I feel that I have gotten to know her better and gotten a better idea of what her work life looks like. Starting off, I asked her simply how many students she sees in any given day. She replied by stating that she can see anywhere between four and sixteen students depending on if she sees students individually or in class groups. Personally, I feel like that it a lot of students for one person to be responsible for in any given day, especially if it is in a class group. Piggybacking on this question, I asked if she had any preferences on personal issues she liked to work with.
