What is your thesis statement? Healthy eating is not about strict nutrition guides, its about feeling great, having more energy, and keeping yourself healthy.

l. First Main Point- Making Good Food Choices

A. Supporting Details- Making good food choices can reduce your risk of illness such as, diabetes and heart failure.

1. Sub Detail- Begin by simplifying your diet, instead of being concerned with counting calories or measuring portions, you should think of your diet like colors, variety and freshness.

2. Sub Detail- Try not to think of certain foods as a danger to your diet. If you love sweet treats, or salty foods, start by having smaller portions sizes, and not eating them as much.

B. Supporting Details- Don't back away from fruits and vegetables.

1. Sub Detail- It's ok to fill up on your fruits and vegetables. They are a great way to maintain a healthy diet

2. Sub Detail- Fruits and vegetables are the key to a healthy diet, there low in calories and nutrient dense.

ll. Second Main Point- Benefits of Healthy Eating

A. Supporting Details- There are many benefits of healthy eating, such as energy and strength.

1. Sub Detail- Among these two of the most important benefits of healthy eating is, weight loss, and protection from diseases.

2. Sub Detail- Exercising is something many of us don't like to do. A well balance meal with exercise is the best way to lose weight and keep it off.

3. Sub Detail- It was found that the foods we eat shape our bodies and minds, and have a large impact on how we are prone to disease.
