Cheap Traveling
Traveling can be a hassle, especially if you are planning a trip for a big family, or even just for a couple’s getaway. In the United States, many people assume that planning a vacation locally is more convenient simply because they can easily get on a car and go. However, it can be as easy to get in a plane and travel to a foreign country instead of staying in the same country, and this can be even cheaper than taking a local vacation. According to Aesop " Adventure is worthwhile", and traveling is one of the best adventures that people can experience in life. Also, by going to places that you've never been open up your mind to new things, new people, and you learn from it as much as you can. In my case, I'm fortunate to have been able to visit different cities all over the world, but only two of them have completely captivated me, San Francisco, California and Miami, Florida. Even though these two cities are located in the same country, both have many differences such as in the public transportation, food-population, and lifestyle.…

Depending on one’s geographic location and personal economic status, vacations are often regarded as the expected result of hard work or productivity. They typically act as a temporary pause on the stressors or difficult components of life and allow time for either relaxation or adventure. Despite this commonly held understanding, not all countries maintain such a positive opinion. Rather than a blissful escape from monotony, they instead view vacations as nothing more than a pitiful waste of time, energy, and critical resources.…

“Tiiiim! Is the car all packed? Are you ready to go?” I yelled, as I ran up and down the stairs trying to get everything together. He answers, but I only half hear him. I check and double check the list in my head, “Food, check; blankets, check; pillows, check; games, check; camera, check; suitcases, check; gas, check; music CD’s, check; family, check…Lets do this!” I went downstairs to the playroom and the kids are watching TV. “Boys, are you ready to go? Did you pack your games and books for the road?” “Yup, were ready!” They say, almost in unison. “Alright, lets hit the road!” This past year, for spring break, we decided to take a road trip to Laguna Beach,…

One day me and a couple of friends were on a road trip to Maryland to go see our brothers basketball game. We rode in my friends new car to see if it was a good running car. About 40 minutes into the ride the oil light came on. We pulled over to see what the problem was. We popped the hood to see if anything looked off but nothing looked wrong. Not too long after a cop pulled behind us. The cop asked us what was the issue with the car and asked everyone for ID's. While the cop was checking our IDs me and my friends were discussing whether or not we should continue the road trip or just head back home. We all agreed to continue the journey. By then the cop was back with our ID's and he told us to be safe. Before we pulled off we all prayed that we would arrive safely. The weather is nice, the tunes were great. We were on our way! About 35 mins from the basketball game the car turned off while we were on the highway. We made sure the hazards were on and tried to get over to the…

People believe that making college free for everyone would solve many problems faced today, but that is very wrong. The term “free” as an adverb means without cost or payment. Free college will never exist because society will have to pay higher taxes to accommodate everyone that wishes to receive a higher education. The public believes that a free college education will increase the success rate of a student, and that they may feel motivated to earn their degree. In all cases in life people take more pride and better care of what they pay for. If students are going to school on someone else’s dime they will not take…

Imagine getting away from the monotony of your everyday life. You can lie on the beach sipping a cool drink miles away from your worries of getting a paper done or helping a customer at work. You can be on top of a mountain overlooking beautiful lands that are different from your own backyard. Half of the class has taken a vacation less than five times in their lifetimes, but let’s face that most of those probably included those little family vacations to Disneyland. But, all of you said that you planned to travel someday. So, why not do it sooner than later? One of the reasons for not traveling that many of you put is not having time because of school or work. The first way to make a trip possible is to save up your source of income. I like to take a small amount such as twenty percent out of each of my paychecks, and I set that money aside for my personal use or leisure. There are many ways that you can save up, but I suggest saving gradually over a period of time. Gradually saving allows you to always have some money to spend instead of putting it all away. Ultimately this is better because it allows you to keep out of your savings, and not take the risk of blowing them.…
