Charlie Book And Movie Analysis
After reading and watching the movie it gave me an idea about what's different and the how similar they are and they are 95% different. In the book it goes in more detail at the ending and in the movie it leaves of a cliff hanger. In the book, charlie was given twenty dollars for working hard and everyone at his job wanted him to leave because he was too smart. In the movie his “friends” made a vote for him to leave to get him fired because they were challenged. The movie did go in more detail how his “friends” are more evil in the book. Ms. kinnin and Charlie got in a relationship and almost got married, charlie took drugs, and he road a motorcycle. The biggest difference was that charlie didn’t buried Algerian and Algerian was putted in his

Usually when talking about a movie or a book, it hard to discuss the similarities and the differences. Because sometimes a movie can be more influencing than a book and vice versa. When I first started reading the book The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, I was confused at first but then as I kept reading, I realized how things can go a certain way and how one person can make a change in the whole world without even meaning to. Personally, what I…

The first similarity of the book and the movie is the part where Pony and Johnny both go to the lot. Hear they both fell asleep which made Ponyboy late. This led to Pony’s brother, Darry being very upset. Then Pony and Johnny to ran away to the park. The socs came and that's when Johnny killed Bob (Hinton 42-49). The second similarity is they had the rumble of the greasers vs. the socs in both the movie and the book. The fight might of happened a little differently in each, but they both had the rumble. One last similarity that is in both the movie and book is that Dally died because Johnny died. These similarities kept the storyline of the movie and the book the same.…

LeAlan And Lloyd are best friends and reporters but they start to split since LeAlan graduated and Lloyd failed 12th grade and didn’t go to graduation with LeAlan. Also the book didn’t write about the principle thinking that LeAlan and Lloyd was saying all these bad things about the hood that was not true. The reason why I think that there are so many differences in the book and movie is because LeAlan grandmother was singing her favorite song in the movie and the book never said that she was singing her favorite song. I like the movie better because it shows more things that never happened in the book. I like the book a little bit because it shows more things that never happened in the movie. The book and movie versions of Our America have many differences such as the movie shows and tells that Duane got shot and the book never said that Duane got shot.…

The story and the movie compare to each other so well due to several different reasons. First off, both of these are based off of true stories which is really upsetting if you think about it because people during both times were getting falsely accused of crimes. That means that innocent people were getting punished because of someone else’s false accusations. Another thing that is similar about them is when…

I believe that the book and the movie version of Our America have more differences than similarities because there were a lot of things that were different. For example, in the book the story of how 5 year old Eric Morse got dropped out of the 14th floor window was different from the story in the movie. In the movie it…

One thing in particular that the book does much better is making use of complex metaphors and themes, such as: the river for life, and oneness with nature, that string themselves together as you turn each page of the book, while in the movie the metaphors and symbolism are represented in a much different way through picture. In the book, both themes regarding the river are very vivid and clear, as they use strong imagery of nature to draw pictures in the minds of the readers. In the movie both themes are represented and referred to much less because of the lack of narration.…

In both the book and the movie, the plot is very similar but is also different. They both have lots of similarities and lots differences. In the book and movie, the plot is similar in the way that Leslie dies when use swings across the creek. It is different in the way that in the movie, Jess gets his hopes up to become the fastest kid in his class, than Leslie comes along and beats him. The plot also changes because the movie has less time to fit everything in that is in the book.…

In addition to the book being written differently than the movie, there are many things that were left out of the movie that were in the book. One thing that was in the book but not the movie was when Charlie caught his sister Candace and her boyfriend, Ponytail Derek sleeping together. In the movie they also leave the part out when Charlie drives Candace to get an abortion. Charlie, Sam and Patrick also smoke cigarettes in the book, but they don’t in the movie. One big thing that Charlie did a lot of in the book, but almost none of in the movie was cry. In the book, Charlie cries after he and Sean get in a fight, when Sam kisses him, when he breaks up the fight between Patrick and Brad, and after the dare where…

The book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory's, have similarity and differences. In the book one of the comparisons about Willy Wonka is in both movie and book Willy Wonka has a cane. Then, one of the differences in the book is, Willy Wonka has a different colored coat. The color was gray, in the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was wearing a brown colored coat almost like a brown dog. There were a lot of main points that the book and movie were alike. In both Morrie dies the same way with the same people around him. At the beginning of this story Mitch is so consumed in his job that he doesn’t give any attention to anything else but his column. As the story progresses Morrie starts to lighten up on the job and work towards a relationship with Morrie. By having this relationship with Morrie helps his relationship back home with his girlfriend who is getting tired of Mitch not giving her the attention she deserves. Janine and Morrie both play huge parts in Mitch’s life in both the movie and the book. The movie used a lot of the same lines used in the book such as Morrie’s aphorisms. One last thing that the book and movie had in common was that each time Mitch went to visit Morrie he could tell Morrie was getting worse and worse.…
