Case Study: The Dominator
“The Dominator,” Trey stammered, his heart pounding. Instantly, the breath went out of him. How could his family end up dealing with the most powerful group in this country. The group that backed up by three largest corporations and had their control of government, the country representative, the biggest businesses, to the media. And the police? Trey didn't know anymore. They were everywhere from the magnificent building in the downtown of the city to the narrow alley in the district. Even right now he felt as if the Dominator watched him, monitored him, and he suddenly shuddered of that thought.

Their prominent leader was the clown prince, for short, people called him Prince. People described The Infinity as a realist who understood the enormous odds against them as well as a romantic who would do anything for what they believed in. and that alone had cost them so much trouble. After Prince died, The Infinity lost their influence and power. There had been no evidence of their existence for over a decade, and people agreed the Infinity had been defunct for many years. The fact was that there was no sight of the clowns everywhere, they vanished. It's so unfortunate, especially because they’re the only gang that inflicted fear to the Dominator. The only group that might stop the spread of the Dominator’s oppression.
And his uncle was The Infinity, meant that his uncle was a clown. Wow. Trey shook his head, he knew that his uncle was a devoted doctor. He always appeared neat and clean, Trey barely found dust on his white coat. But he had never shown that he’s a part of a gang.
Trey phone beeped again. Surely the news about his missing uncle had soared rapidly in the neighborhood. And he’s right, it's another his classmate, Boris Waters. Boris was his best friend and his constant shadow as Boris always followed him everywhere; though from Boris's perspective, Trey could be the one who followed him. Trey could do nothing as at that time he was only 10, but that thing left him a permanent scar, which might be invisible from outside but linger inside. Now he’s no longer a 10-year-old boy who stood frozen when a woman cried for help, he's a young man of 16, and he would fight if he really needed to.
The book store was only meters away and he could see his friend Boris, a big posture man, as calling him fat would certainly make Boris to raise a serious challenge, had waited him outside with two cups of hot tea in both hands.
“Trey!” Boris ran toward Trey. He outstretched his hands to welcome him. He hugged Trey with his massive hand, clenched Trey’s body until Trey found himself lacking of breath.
“I’m so sorry to hear about Dr. b. Honestly he’s the last person I'd suspected would be kidnapped.” Boris handed Trey a cup of hot tea, he knew it’s Trey’s favorite, “Here’s tea, it will help to boast your spirit.”
