Carolina Moon Comparison
Carolina Moon and Naked in Death are two different genre books written by the same author. However, with any book an author will keep some things the same. They will write a book in a different genre but keep certain aspects of the book will be the same as other novels written by the author. Author's can write different novels in different time periods or on different plants but still write they that are comparable to their other works. The author uses romance, murder, and diverse main characters to make these two books. Carolina Moon is about Tori Bodeen and Kincade Lavelle finding love and solving a twenty year mystery. It is known from the very beginning that Eve is a lieutenant when her superior says, “Pick up your shield and weapon on the way to the incident. Code Five, lieutenant.” (Robb 1). Tori Bodeen is moving back to her hometown to open her own store. In Carolina Moon it states, “I need to get settled first, get into the shop and roll up my sleeves. I've got stock and supplies coming in over the next few days.”(Roberts 10). Kincade owns a farm that was passed down to him from his father. According to Carolina Moon, “He'd dealt with the countless sleepless nights during the first three years he'd been in charge of the farm.”(Roberts 12). While, the author made Kincade own a farm she makes Roarke a extremely wealthy man. It is known when it is stated that Roarke is, “President and CEO of Roarke Industries, interests in real estate, import-export, shipping, entertainment, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, transportation. Estimated gross worth, three billion, eight hundred million.”(Robb 2). In conclusion, to make the characters are made vastly different to make the story line for the books
