Burger King vs Mcdonalds
The battle of the battle of creating a better burger has been going on since businesses began to sell hamburgers and compete with other businesses selling the same product. To create the better burger is the goal of any business that sells burgers since having the best will draw in customers, increase sales, and help to establish repeat business. It seems that in the past couple of decades there has been a battle of the burgers with two worldwide established fast food restaurants between the McDonald's franchise verses the Burger King franchise. These two companies have been competing in marketing and product sales for more than the past thirty years. Both McDonald's and Burger King have their own signature burger for which the different franchises are known for; the Big Mac to represent McDonald’s whereas the Whopper represents Burger King. So goes the battle of the burger between McDonald’s and Burger King, Big Mac in opposition to the Whopper which one will draw in the customers and help the franchise to corner the burger market. Both franchises offer fast and friendly service, with the options to dine in the restaurant or chose the drive thru. When considering two options of a quick burger while on the go, the Big Mac sandwich from McDonald's or the Whopper sandwich from Burger King, I feel that the Whopper is a better choice. Even though the calories are high in both the Big Mac and the Whopper I think that the Whopper is a healthier as well as better tasting choice of the two different

The companies I used for my observations are KFC and Boston Market. Both restaurants specialize in chicken meals but the two companies take very different approaches to gain the competitive advantage over the competition. KFC is most known for its fried chicken original and spicy Dark or light meat. Boston market is known for its Rotisserie style chicken original and spicy light or dark meat. They’re both easy on the wallet and have menu options for individual meals and family meals. The two companies are products are very similar in pricing. The two fast food restaurants are similar when it comes to customer service and store conditions, you will find that both companies place customer service in high regards, But the two companies show different store lay out styles. Boston Market lay out is very simple and seems and more for adults While KFC uses more colors and logos for their store lay outs. Boston market products seem to be more home style and health conscience meals. KFC Products are focused on convenience and are less health conscience because most of their products are fried, but in recent times KFC has added new menu items that are not fried but grilled and are also healthier options than what was offered in the past. For my decision I pick Boston Market for having the advantage because of its simple store lay out and its health conscience menu items and better drink selection. For me it’s not what products company sells but how the company sells its…

McDonald’s and Chick-Fil-A are American fast food restaurants. McDonald’s was found in 1940, by Richards and Maurice McDonald, in San Bernardino, California. Chick-Fil-A was found in 1946, by S. Truett Cathy. Both restaurants are distinct in their own way. Chick-fil-A is famous for their chicken sandwich and happy employees/service. Truett Cathy believed, "Employees should have an opportunity to rest, spend time with family and friends, and worship if they choose to do so". His beliefs were incorporated in his business. It is impossible to find an unorganized and unhygienic Chick-Fil-A. McDonald’s on the other hand is known for their cheap menu and wide range of availability globally. They want to satisfy customers who earned average or below…

    Mcdonalds vs. Checkers

McDonalds and Checkers A burger and fries are two of my favorite foods; everyone loves some type of burger (unless they are a vegetarian). The residents of our city are lucky restaurants specializing in burgers are plentiful. Most people that I have come across consider McDonalds as being the best when compared to Checkers. Although both serve wonderful burgers, the differences in the menu and the overall atmosphere set them apart from one another, making McDonalds the leading burger place. Checkers was founded in 1986. Although it has not been around as long as McDonalds, it is still a good place to eat. Unlike McDonalds, Checkers does not have a large selection of dollar foods, only the Checker Burger. The dollar menu may exist at McDonalds, but the 79 cent menu exists only at Checkers. This menu includes plain burgers, regular hot dogs, and milk shakes. You can get a bite to eat and a good cool down for under a buck. One thing that Checkers has that McDonalds does not have is those delicious chili-cheese fries. No one makes them better. When you dine in at McDonalds you are coming into an elegant place in which you can get loud and enjoy yourself. Kids that come to McDonalds love the fact that it has a place just for them, the Play Place. While parents are ordering food, the children can have a good time playing in the secured play area. Checkers is drive-thru burger place only, so it does not have an inside dining area. Checkers also does not have a place for kids to play. If you care to sit at checkers to eat, then you will have to dine outside. McDonalds and Checkers may be different in many ways, but they are similar as well. If you want great burgers and good tasting fries, then these two places are the best. They provide you with food items for a dollar or less and enable you to get it and go at the drive-thru. Their menu gives you many different selections in the burger styles, which is a plus. You are always greeted with a friendly smile and you will…

The American hamburger is an American classic and the most recognizable menu item in the fast food industry. Even though there are many different takes on the types of meats, toppings, and dressings used, the hamburger has been a restaurant regular and historical favorite of both children and adults. The hamburger can even bridge cultural and religious divides. It can unite the masses, and with that being said many people agree that all burgers are not created equal. While McDonald’s is synonymous with happy childhoods and those long bumpy road trips, In-N-Out caters to the majority of young adults past the age of fourteen desires a more sophisticated burger.…

What do you typically order when dining at McDonald’s or Wendy’s? When I am having a meal from either place, my favorite choice is a fried chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, bacon and extra mayo. Sometimes, I may make it a combo and enjoy the greasy, salty french fries and an ice cold soft drink. Most of their customers often purchase the unhealthiest options because they feel as if that is what fast food is all about, right? Fortunately, it does not have to be that way. Fast food can be convenient and nutritious. Wendy’s and McDonald’s are both fast food restaurants, so they are alike in many ways. However, each one also possesses distinct characteristics that allow it to stand out from the rest of the fast food chains. Each restaurant offers a variety of healthy and unhealthy products for their patrons.…

In the past few months, I have got more of a liking with McDonald’s coffee and specialty coffees more than the Wendy Coffee brand itself. I find the quality and taste to be a little off each time I go to Wendy’s and a lot of the times they get my order wrong and they sometimes put little or no sugar and the cream sometimes is not enough or there is too much of it, the coffee roast seems to have been burnt, or the taste is a little off. Whereas I go to McDonalds and each time I do order they know the exact amount to put for me and each time is always perfectly done to my standards. I also think McDonalds is smarter in terms of the sizes of the cups, the specials they come up with, the coupons that are mailed out to all the homes. Here is my evaluation of the comparison between McDonalds and Wendy’s Coffee and my opinions on both:…

Hamburgers have been transformed into veggie burgers and pizzas have been changed to white pizzas. The problem with veggie burgers and white pizzas are they simply do not taste as good as a regular hamburger or pizza. As Michael Pollen stated, “to think of some of the most delicious components of food as toxins, as nutritionism has taught us to do in the case of fat, does little for our happiness as eaters” (13). When Americans try and eat healthy, they opt to go for the healthy options and not the unhealthy options even though those are the foods that taste the best. So to conquer the dilemma of finding healthy, tasteful foods, we must find healthy foods that taste as good as the unhealthy…

The latter half of the 20th century brought the birth of many household fast food names. McDonalds, Wendy’s, Burger King, etc. have all become common names across the country. Since then, they have helped to create the unhealthiest, most fast food obsessed nation in American history. From the typical suburban family, to the businessmen of Manhattan, fast food has provided the chance to eat half-decent tasting food, even while wrapped up in the busy lives most Americans live. The content and nutritional values are not given a second…

Any person has the choice to choose a healthier meal or a greasy burger from a fast food restaurant and in that moment lays the truth at who’s responsible for the reason American is in the position that we are in today, the people. Many people blame McDonalds for the reason that they are overweight and obese, saying that it is addicting and hard on your health. But studies have shown that, from the past, McDonalds has improved their foods, and are not harmful to the health within reasonable eating habits. It goes to show that it is, and always will be, placed in America’s hands to eat right and stay healthy, no matter what is being advertised. I mean, would you go jump off a bridge, blind-folded, with your hands tied behind your back, no line attached, and jagged rocks beneath you, just because Ronald McDonald did it while eating a Big Mac and he came out of it just…

There are two major fast food restaurants that people choose. One is McDonald’s; the other one is IN-N-OUT. Between McDonald’s and IN-N-OUT, there are some similarities and differences. The first similarity is price. You can buy a combo meal including a hamburger, a pack of french fries, and a soda. Both their price are no more than 10 dollars. Another major similarity is management. Not only McDonald’s but also IN-N-OUT, there are lots of chain stores everywhere in America. Despite these similarities, the two fast food restaurants differ in some ways. First, it is the freshness of the food. At McDonald’s they cook food before the customer comes. On the other hand, at IN-N-OUT they cook food after the customer comes to order. So the food at IN-N-OUT is fresher than At McDonald’s. A final difference is secret menu. At McDonald’s all foods you can order are on the menu. However, at IN-N-OUT not all foods are on the menu. On their menu, they are just cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, hamburger, french fries, and soda. It seems that too less kinds of food are provided. Yet it’s not truth. In fact, there are other foods like wish burger, Animal Style Fries, Flying Dutchman, Protein Style, etc you can eat. All in all, there are some similarities and differences I have noticed between McDonald’s and IN-N-OUT. Some people like McDonald’s; some people like IN-N-OUT. That’s all right. You can choose what you…
