Burgers Vs Gyros
If you're a college student, you probably like convenient, cheap food. But what if for just a few extra dollars you could go somewhere cleaner, and more appetizing than McDonald's or Taco Bell? Nick's Jr Burgers & Gyros is the place to go then. This little hole-in-the-wall restaurant will leave you and even your wallet satisfied.
Located just off Evergreen Way, right next to the Wienerschnitzel, Nick's is easily spotted by its bright red and white stone architecture. And due to its location, from the college it's a convenient and simple bus ride via route seven to the eatery and back.

This gives it somewhat of an advantage to other restaurants that specialize in the same type of food, as it allows to keep the rest of its menu diverse. While the tip of the spear for the menu is the Gyro of the Gods, a free style gyro christened with lamb, fresh onion, tomato, and feta cheese, it has competition on the menu. The GCBC (Grilled Cheese Bacon Cheeseburger) is Just as it sounds, a bacon cheeseburger, but with each bun replaced by grilled cheese sandwiches. The menu also offers less extreme items such as the Texan, a burger with grilled onions, and BBQ sauce. As well as the more antiquated options such as the California burger, with guacamole, and the Egg burger, a sort of breakfast option. The options even include those of eastern influence such as the Banzi Burger, a teriyaki glazed patty and wasabi adorned bun with grilled pineapple. There are only four or five fountain flavors available, and no free refills. With the relative ease, convenience, and floor space available, there's really no reason to not have a self serve fountain. If the business really wanted to set itself apart from other local restaurants even more, a Coke Freestyle machine would be perfect. However, the lack of fountain soda can be redeemed by all the local microbrew root beers, lemonade, and sodas in glass bottles the restaurant
