Brian Hugh Warner: Marilyn Manson
Brian Hugh Warner, better known as Marilyn Manson, is a singer, painter, actor and American film director. Throughout his musical and artistic career he has been publicly rejected on several occasions for his 'dark' appearance.
He was born on January 5, 1969 in Ohio. Manson combined the names of the actress Marilyn Monroe and the convict Charles Manson for his artistic name. They were his alter ego.
Brian Hugh Warner's first job was as a music journalist in a local magazine. This work gave him the opportunity to interview and meet famous and admired musicians. A remarkable case was his interview with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails (who later will become producer of his albums). While doing his job as a music journalist, he formed his metal
