AL CAPONE
On January 17th, 1899 the most infamous gangster to walk the streets of Chicago, Illinois was born. This man is the true American Gangster. This guy has been incarcerated, and was involved in some very terrible crimes, but also just some minor crimes. Alphonse Capone (Al Capone) is the most infamous gangster/mobster that had been seen in the city of Chicago. His childhood to his first crime to his grave, Al Capone had a very interesting life.
Birth to Death

during the 1920’s Capone was involved in many brutal acts of violence , he mainly did this towards other gangsters. In 1929 the St. Valentine’s Day massacre took place. On June 5,1931 the federal government had indicted Capone on 22 counts of income tax evasion. When Capone plead guilty and tried to use bribery and intimidation to get less time, but the judge denied, and Capone then he withdrew his plea and took the case to trial. The prison is on an island and excluded from any of the outside world. the Prison is located in the San Francisco Bay area called Alcatraz. While in prison Capone began having poor health. As a young man Capone had contracted Syphilis and now he was suffering from neurosyphilis, syphilis that affects the central nervous system. In 1939 was sent to a mental hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, he spent three years before being released in 1942. Capone then moved to Miami with his wife where he spent his final years. On January 25. 1947, Al Capone died of cardiac arrest.
CONCLUSION
From childhood to death, Al Capone had been one of the most infamous, ruthless gangsters of 20th century. Al Capone had assassinated and order many of people to be killed. He was hated by some and loved by others. He had a multi-million dollar operation, which included; bootlegging, prostitution, and gambling. he had never been charged with any murders but have only charged with income tax-evasion.
