Evangelizing Japan through English Teaching”

I am Rizalinda Rafano, a dentist by profession in the Philippines and an English missionary teacher in Japan. Serving people as a dentist is truly inspiring and rewarding to me; however, serving the Lord is incomparably glorying that absolutely completes me. Therefore, I will not get tired working with the Lord to reach out and tell to the unbelievers His saving grace. It is indeed such great achievement and priceless wealth to see people get freed, healed and alive again in the love of God.

I came to Japan not as a dentist, but as a Missionary English teacher in 2004 for Hallelujah International School, a church based school of Midorino Christ Church. However, since I did not have TESOL then, …show more content…
He has not heard anything about me and the mission that I do in Japan after TESOL. I am a direct missionary of God’s organization: God-my sender, Jesus-my personal mentor and the Holy Spirit-my power and strength, the only help I have to persist on doing God’s mission or mandate. I have tried to connect with some mission organizations before, but they all discouraged me to go to Japan for financial reasons. I had enough disappointments…. that I trust very few people only. I live to trust and obey God only and not any person—so the bottom line and the beginning of everything is, this is God’s mission not mine. I trusted and depended on God to lead me to a place where He wanted me to go and use me in anyway and in everyway He pleases me to do for His Glory and Honor.

I would like to take advantage of this time not only to thank Sir Sam for the timeless and boundless legacy he has given me in order for me to thrive and prosper in the mission field of evangelizing Japan through English teaching. He has no knowledge about this, that ever since I came back to Japan in Nov. 2015 to engage in mission, I already have considered him my— “big brother”— to be one of the very few significant persons or foundations of my missionary work here in Japan—to make God’s salvation be known in Japan.

    In his book Share Jesus Without Fear, William Fay lays out an easy and attainable way for one to reach people for Christ. Just because you may have been the 3rd, does not mean that it didn’t make a difference.
