If I had the opportunity to meet one person in the world for a day, I would want to meet Pastor Wani who works in the Nuba mountains of Sudan. The Nuba mountains are a very dangerous place for Christians now due to Sudanese government bombers. The bombers often attack churches, hospitals, schools, and homes; people of the Nuba mountains are constantly seeking shelter at the sound of a plane’s engine. Pastor Wani has kept his faith and hope as he strives to protect his people, and continue loving people and spreading the gospel. Pastor Wani was captured by the Sudanese government soldiers earlier this year, but he was able to escape. This evangelist and the people of the Nuba mountains continue to press on through the bombings and torture they
