A long time ago in a distant sea of green and brown filled with colorful animals and plants stood a castle of greyish manner, polished as if the castle was recently constructed. Inside every room was furnished with marvelous red and blue silk spread across every room as if the lord is making an statement of something. BEEP BEEP BEEP! BEEP BEEP BEEP! SMACK! “ You do not have to be so mean to it, it is just trying to wake you up for school so you are not late again” yell a female’s voice. Twenty minutes later “get up it is 0650 am, I put breakfast on the table and I am about to leave for work” the female said.” Do not forget we are going to the homeless shelter tonight when I get home from work”. As I down to eat my breakfast I heard the faint …show more content…
After one of my favorite classes I head to Health Sciences to go over CPR because next week we head to the hospital for the first week of rounds. During CPR we were told to do 30 compressions or 100 compressions in a minute with 2 breaths after 30 time of going at least two inches in an adult or an person eight and above. At the time of 0916 I head across the school do english where we are given the responsibility to write a paper that includes a moral lesson and is due friday typed into turnitin.com. The teacher today was walking around and talking to student make sure they are writing about the right topic and the first person she came to was me. “ So Liam what are you writing about the teacher asked.” I decide to write about myself in this story” I replied.” Which moral lesson did you choose” “ I choose to write about the moral lesson of diligence which I believe mean to alway challenge yourself but remain humble in everything you do within school and out of school.” “ That sounds very intriguing and I can not wait to see how you pull the story all together” the teacher said as she moved to another student. When entering my next class I was given a pass for my senior meeting which will tell me my rank and GPA. Unfortunately I spent almost two hour in the meeting because the counselor lost my paper file and the computer was not wanting to open my internet file. When the computer finally loaded my file I missed math and science but I did learn I am 12th in my class out of 784 and my GPA is 6.63 out of a 7 point scale. The next class I had to attend was my training class where I had the chance to learn how to put a person arm back in its socket and how to stretch a person that had surgery on their leg. Following my trainer class I went to Pals where we went to Tiny middle school to meet

Once again, I was placed in Mrs.Metcalfe who teaches second grade at Bens Branch Elementary. Mrs.Metcalfe took attendance while the students waited patiently on the carpet. After she took attendance, she addressed that she had taken some privileges away from the students because the students did not picked up their mess after having centers and would not follow instructions that the teacher gave. She explained that centers might return for the upcoming school year if they behaved properly. After she addressed the issues of the students, she instructed everyone to go back to their desks and waited till they put their thumbs which meant that they were ready for the lesson of the day. Mrs.Metcalfe went up to the front of the class to use the projector and expected her students to follow what she was doing on their worksheets.…

Walking into high school four years ago, I fully intended on being a part of of the Co-Op program at Midland High School. I took the required classes prior to applying into the program, which were Computer Technology I and II as well as the other graduation requirements. Come the end of my Junior year, I had entered into the program. In the beginning, there weren’t any job openings in the veterinary field. Fortunately, one opened up at Animal Medical Center in mid July. I had received a phone call from Dr. White, the head veterinarian and owner, requesting an interview. A few days later, I attended the interview and subsequently was offered the morning Co-Op position at Dr. White’s office. This position required training, so the Co-Op student…

Firstly, I began missing school a lot starting in October. I missed 20 days throughout the fall semester of junior year alone. I had lots of homework o make up due to all of my absences and Mrs. Henrey was very helpful in helping me succeed with the homework I missed. Mrs. Henrey went out of her way to help me. She would have me come into her classroom during lunch so that I would not have to sit in the cafeteria, which was very loud, to help me concentrate on homework. She also tried to help me understand what I was missing even if it was a class she was not teaching. Mrs. Henrey was an English teacher and she would repeatedly try and me with other classes such as Calculus and Childhood Development even though that was not her field of expertise. She was very helpful in keeping…

One day at break time I was walking back to the office when one of my class pupils called me to help her. She was trying to help one of the younger pupils who was crying and clutching her elbow. When asked what had happened the class pupil said that the younger child had been walking up the stairs and had slipped over banging her arm. My pupil had picked her up and helped her to the class to calm her down and ask my advice. The younger pupil was clearly shaken up and upset, so I sat her down and had a look at her arm and found a small graze on her elbow. I cleaned it with an antiseptic wipe and applied a plaster. She calmed down and stopped crying. I asked my class pupil to walk us to the office so that we could record the incident accurately in the accident book. Once completed and we were back in the class I spoke to my pupil praising her for her kind actions. I gave her two beads. I explained to the rest of the class what had happened and we all gave her a clap for her model behaviour. The head teacher also mentioned her good deed in the special assembly.…

Me being the impatient but helpful person I am I said “yeah sure”. So I moved this little box that any kid in my class could have easily moved outside of her moving it herself. She stopped what she was doing at her cabinet and she showed me my final exam grade and it said 89% B+. A surprised me began smiling excited that I would pass the class with almost a B average for the year. She looked at me and said “T, you are smart. You have given me 40% effort and still somehow you still have managed to pass my class, I struggle dealing with students who are incapable but try hard every single day and you don't show me any effort and still manage to do have a decent grade…” “Why are you afraid? You are easily one of the most gifted students I have encountered and you show no effort?”. I just sat there lost and confused and wondered how she knew and wonder why I had wasted all this time not living up to my full potential, I had let my fear of failure keep me from being the best student I could be. I now look at it and regret the decisions I made in the past. Everyday i have learned to allow myself have higher expectations than I have before. There was a lesson in what my teacher said to me and I will…

All throughout school I strived to be a great student, always trying my best and never giving up. I didn’t really have any life changing moments that shaped me into who I am today that is, until freshman year. That year everything changed for me I was faced with challenges I never had to face before. My brother and I are three in a half years apart and he went to Horizon High School for his freshman and sophomore year. He was a troublemaker to say the least didn’t have the best reputation so all the teachers there thought that I was just like him. When I started there no one really knew my name and then once they saw my last name they started to be rude to me and say rude things to me. Even when I did good on work I still got a bad grade just because the…

Busybody thought everything was alright until something horrible happened. It was February 27th, no sign of Johnny Dorset. Mrs. Busybody could finally lie down and relax without being disturbed. Everything was starting to seem so peaceful, relaxing, and calm. She was slowly drifting off to sleep. Then, she heard someone yelling as loud as an elephant. Mrs. Busybody sat up to see the worst surprise ever. The terrible and mean Johnny Dorset has come back. She got ran around the house faster than a cheetah. Awe Man! , “I thought I would never see him again”, she said. “Lord, why me? Is this punishment for popping Johnny’s little, red ball or breaking all his sticks so he wouldn’t be able to play that Indian game”, she thought. Whichever one it was please forgive me. All of sudden, a thought struck her head. “I can leave for a few days”. Mrs. Busybody quickly ran to my dresser and pulled out a week’s worth of clothes. What about my two cats’? , she thought. “I’ll just leave them here”. “My cats are missing limbs and ears and they’re beaten up. If they weren’t in such poor condition, I would gladly them with me”. But, Johnny decided he wanted to throw medium sized rocks at them. Poor cats, they haven’t been the same since then. She finished getting her items together. Mrs. Busybody walked outside to the old, raggedy, blue car in the drive way. She started driving and the car started making funny noises. The dusty, slow car broke down in front of a big cabin. This is better than nothing. “At least I’m away from Johnny”, she said with a stupid grin on her…

The hot humid air surrounding me made me break out in sweat just by sitting in the same seat for 80 straight minutes. My butt started to ache as I continuously shifted my weight from time to time waiting for the bell to finally ring indicating that class was over. The professor had been lecturing for the past hour or so and my fingers were starting to cramp from taking notes. My notes are scribbles because I am falling asleep waiting for him to finish the lecture. The words coming out of his mouth sounded like gibberish to my ears and I was unable to comprehend any of the information he said;this will continue for the next three classes I have in a role. I do not want to imagine how I will look like when school. I questioned myself if this…

Since the beginning of my education, writing essays and papers has been really interesting and fun for me, until some teachers brought me down or critiqued my work in a really harsh and tough way. For example, there was this time, when I was a freshman during high school, in which we needed to do an essay involving our activities during the weekend and the hobbies that I used to do. So I wrote down about sports, music and other activities, I was really excited about it and I actually thought that I did really well, until I got my paper back, and discovered that my grade was a C. Getting a C in my paper really made me feel kind of bad and down, but I talked to the teachers about it and he gave me some extra credit assignments that involved some extra papers and essays that had a lot to do with my experiences during school, and bullying, but hey at least I learned and practiced more about essays, and I did them, and I got a C, and then a B because my writing skills improved a little.…

Mrs. Snyder passed tests out and flipped mine over when she placed it on my desk. I flip over and read the paper. It says “PARENT CONFERENCE MONDAY NIGHT AT 7:00 PM.” I looked at the grade and my heart dropped, it was a F. I hear the bell ring and I was so mad at myself I just put my test away and stomped out of the room. That night, I heard my parent’s car pull in after school. “I have to show them, I have to.” As they walk through the door, I hand my test to them and explained what happened. I felt my heart drop and felt total regret for what I did. “I’m taking your electronics away!” my mom yelled, “Go to your room. Think about your imprudent decisions!” The whole house was quiet that night. It was Monday morning, school is back already. In 1st period, Mrs. Snyder announces that there will be a new unit test next monday and there will be a study guide passed around today. Mrs Snyder comes next to my desk. “Here is a chance to redeem yourself. Don’t forget about the meeting tonight.” That night, my parents drove to the meeting. That was the worst 45 minutes of my life. They came out furious and had faces of disappointment. To my luck, there was no lecture…
