Benefits Of Being A Member Of QAA
As a member of QAA, I would like to learn more about the accounting industry. I have taken a number of accounting classes, as well competed in the accounting category at DECA. However, my knowledge is limited to the theory of accounting; I have little to no insight on the industry itself. I feel that, as a Commerce student, it should be my responsibility to have insight into as many relevant industries as possible. In addition to industry insight, I believe there are some very valuable benefits of being a member of QAA. First, receiving tips for how to succeed in an interview are valuable for all Commerce students, and I recognize that there is room for improvement in my own interview skills.
