bad girls in school
In this book report I was required to write how I felt, so here it goes. On my first day of reading I was immediately hooked on the book. I imagined the setting in my head, the different animals and so forth. The speech from Old Major was brilliant. I was astounded by his words of wisdom and of the future he had in mind. I had and “oh no” moment when old major had passed. I wish they elaborated more on that though, I liked how the pigs took charge as soon as possible. I was pleased with Snowball being able to convince them to prepare the rebellion and be a good leader. I continued reading on the second day feeling empowered by the animals uprising; I felt the freedom of the characters. The commandments were brilliant, but they seemed more like rules to me. I already predict that Napoleon isn’t the best character here, but on a whole the animal’s hard work amazed me. I honestly like the character Benjamin; he has me thinking I can’t exactly read him, his personality. I could have only imagined him as what the book described. With the war and molli’s betrayal, the book already seems to be going down a dark path. On my last day of reading I felt mix emotions as I saw Snow ball and Napoleons disagreements wouldn’t end well, which it didn’t as napoleon got rid of snow ball. Although it wasn’t the best course of action on Napoleons part but his plans intrigued me, probably only good for himself and the pigs though. At this point I can see that Napoleon is adapting the vices of Jones. When the wind mill was destroyed, I was really irritated, “really? Did that have to happen?” It was okay though because boxer’s heart and hard work and inspiration made up for it. As I continue I basically saw the farm being built on lies by squealer, I despised outright lies. This was irritating me , especially why the animals were murdered and one of the commandments where broken. At least the wind mill is finished and brought back up once more, but sadly just built
